Doing these analysis allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Jonathan Hillsman- Vero Beach High c/o 26
5’10 175lbs
Hillman is an under the radar rising junior prospect. Last season he Help guide the Indians to a 9-3 record and into the regional Semifinals of the State Playoffs. He led the team in ruahing with 563 yards, averaging 7.7 yards per carry with3 touchdowns and 2-100 yard rushing games. The Indians will rely on Hillman again this season to help them get back in contention for a district title and a deep run in the State playoffs. Hillman picked up his first D1 offer from UMass in January.
Strengths:
- Quick feet
- Can cut quickly to avoid defenders
- Burst through the hole
Amir Shabazz- Vero Beach High c/o 26
6’1 200lbs
Shabazz transferred over to Vero this offseason and looks to form a potent 3-headed monster in the Indians backfield. Last season at Centennial he rushed for 90 yards and had 4 receptions for 65 yards.
Strengths:
- Versatile athlete that can line up all over the field
- Acceleration and speed
- Very good hands and ability when lined up at receiver
Joshua Lancifort- Vero Beach High c/o 25
5’9 172lbs
Lancifort is a player to keep an eye on this Spring and into the 2024 season. In a backup role last season he finished fourth on the team rushing for 86 yards and averaging 5.4 yd per carry. He also chipped in with 2 receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Strengths:
- Runs with a natural center of gravity
- Lateral agility
- Slippery runner in close quarters
Jayden Roberts- Treasure Coast High c/o 26
5’11 180lbs
Roberts is an interesting up-and-coming running back prospect in the district. He’ll be a player the Tutans look to replenish a rushing attack that lost its top 3 rushers from a team that went 9-3 and into the Regional Finals of the State Playoffs. Last season he rushed for 22 yards and averaged
