Barely Missed
Mekhi Moore
6’1 165 South Gwinnett
Mekhi has not only attracted the attention of PRN but is also on the radar of most of the P4 schools in the South. Has taking recent trips to UGA, Auburn and Maryland among others.
Fearless in the pocket and makes quick reads. Good accurate deep ball passer that has the arm strength to zip the short passes to the flats and across the middle. Keeps his feet moving in the pocket and can dance out of trouble and make accurate throws on the run.
Was voted Top QB last season at the MVP Camp turning heads with his quick an accurate throws. Plays his prep ball at South Gwinnett and has a good stable of WR’s to throw to this Fall. Stock riser in 2024.

Elliot Sturbaum
6’3 170 McIntosh
Sturbaum broke on to the QB recruiting scene early last year leading 5A classification in passing through the 1st month of the 2023 season. He ended his breakout season with close to 3000 total yards and 25 TDs in 11 games.
Nice build at 6’3 and is still filling out physically. Good accuracy downfield and doesn’t get rattled by pressure in the pocket. Can use his feet when necessary and is surprisingly fast when he gets up to full speed rushing for close to 500 yards last season. Multisport player with a 4.2 GPA off the field. Big Senior season ahead and we would not be surprised to see this guy move his way up in ranking quickly.

6’1 210 New Hampstead
Our fellow PRZ Scout Connor Jackson named Truell one of his most overlooked QBs in the State in an article in January. After watching the Savannah Area prospects film I can see why.
Truell passed for over 3000 yards and completed 38 TD passes his Junior year at New Hamstead. Solid build, looks like a LB at the QB spot at 6’1 210. Has an absolute downfield cannon that can over through the secondary from 50+. Moves around well and is able to avoid traffic. Makes accurate throws even under pressure, at his size he is hard to rattle. Outstanding prospect that if he continues to put up Xbox numbers should be on college radars this Fall.

6’4 210 Rabun Gap
Rabun Gap is technically in part of Georgia and part of North Carolina, if I’m not mistaking, but choose to play high school ball in North Carolina. He made the Georgia Top 200 so we will give him a look.
Owens is underrated on this list in my opinion. He checks off all the boxes. He has size, strength, outstanding pocket presence and is able to throw accurately on the run. What sets him apart is his quick decision making and able to make the appropriate read and deliver with great arm strength. He has already received offers from Marshall and Arkansas State and is a QB all D1 schools should evaluate this off season.
