Bullinger possesses a rare combination of size, athleticism, and strength for a freshman. At 6’5” 235 lbs. he’s already got ideal length with great growth potential to fill out his frame. He’s a natural bender and flashes plus athleticism in his footwork and mobility, especially in space and at the second level. Shows he can reach to the outside and get to linebackers on time. He’s got great balance and body control to match movement and work laterally to establish/maintain positional leverage. At 235 lbs. he plays much bigger with good strength and finishing ability at the contact point. Explodes through contact driving his hips and feet at the POA. Voted first team All-League, he’ll be one of the top 2027 prospects in the state and it’s only a matter of time until his recruitment skyrockets.
Well put together frame for an interior offensive line prospect at 6’2” 280 lbs. with good size/strength in both his upper and lower halves. He’s a physical offensive lineman that can overpower opponents at the POA. He strikes with force and can move defenders once he’s engaged. Finishes a lot of his blocks to the ground. Shows functional athleticism and mobility as a pulling guard or working to second level defenders. Flashes a strong anchor with the ability to sit down and take on a bullrush while maintain positioning. Only allowed two sacks as a freshman and has a strong foundational skillset to build on as he develops.
Doyal already checks a lot of boxes as a major D1 OT prospect as a freshman. He’s got a well-balanced and athletic frame at 6’4” 250 lbs. with good weight distribution and room to add mass. Flashes great natural movement skills and bend in his hips, knees, and ankles that allow him play with leverage and proper leg angles to generate power at the POA. Explosive off the ball with a quick first step to beat defenders to the spot and create positional leverage. Shows he can run and get out in front of perimeter run plays and screens. Like his ability to take good angles and adjust on the fly to break down in space and hit his target. He’s a mauler that plays hard and finishes to the whistle. D1 size and skillset that expect to land him near the top of 2027 OL prospects in the state.
Highlights
Strong compact frame at 5’11” 285 lbs. Throughout his freshman season on varsity he showed he can be effective playing multiple spots on the offensive line and interior DL. He shows good initial quickness out of his stance to get to the spot and be the first one to engage. Strong at the POA with good contact balance and leverage, he’s got a good wide base that allows him to drive with power and stay on his feet. Like his ability to sustain and stick to his block throughout the play. Moves his feet and uses his hands well to latch on and drive opponents off the ball. Operates well as a pulling guard that can line up defenders with good footwork and explode upon contact to create running lanes. Good all-around prospect to watch as he develops.
