Continue ReadingAs we head into the 2024 high school football offseason, it is time for some rankings updates! After already covering the 2025 and 2026 classes, we have now officially released our initial Top 75 rankings for the class of 2027. With that being said, I will be taking the next week or so to break down these rankings by position. After already covering the offensive skill players, here are our top offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.
Brady Hull Brady Hull 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Pulaski County | 2027 State KY has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to establish himself as one of the top players in his class this past season. He lined up at left tackle where he was dominant as a run blocker. Hull explodes out of his stance and drives his man down the field, finishing with pancake blocks very frequently. He has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field as a lead blocker. Hull is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Brady currently holds offers from Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and Miami (OH), and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Power 4 caliber offensive line prospect.
Highlights
Justyn Perez Justyn Perez 6’3″ | 270 lbs | OL Woodford County | 2027 State KY is another offensive lineman that stood out in a big way as a freshman. He showed the versatility to play both tackle spots where he was very reliable as a run blocker. Perez does a great job of driving his feet through contact to drive his man out of the picture. He also showed reliability in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base and not allow for much penetration into the pocket. Perez currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he continues to develop.
Highlights
Harrison McGraw Harrison McGraw 6’0″ | 260 lbs | OL North Oldham | 2027 State KY is a player that stood out to me with a very impressive freshman year. He lined up at right guard where he is a dominant run blocker. McGraw is a true mauler, showing the ability to drive his man down the field and finish his blocks through the whistle. He is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to get into his pass sets quickly and continue working to keep his man away from the quarterback. Harrison doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.
Highlights
Jeremiah Moore Jeremiah Moore 6’2″ | 275 lbs | OL Bryan Station | 2027 State KY is another offensive lineman that jumped onto our radar as a freshman. He played a key role in Bryan Station’s run to the 6A State Championship Game as their starting center. Moore is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to get the snap off quickly and drive his feet through contact to drive his man out of the picture. He is also impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to pick up stunts/blitzes and keep a strong base, not allowing much penetration into the pocket. Moore doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on heading into his sophomore year.
To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky, I have Leelen Vanover Leelen Vanover 6’2″ | 280 lbs | OL Madison Southern | 2027 State KY . Vanover played most of his snaps at right tackle but also showed the versatility to move inside at guard. He is a physical run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field and finish his blocks quickly, resulting in several pancake blocks. Vanover is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base and continue to fight to keep his quarterback protected. Leelen doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
