At 6’2 and 295 pounds, Gavin sports a 4.2 GPA which is always a great asset in recruiting! It also makes sense that he plays center on a very good team – making all the calls and the adjustments, you must have a strong, intelligent player at the hub of that offensive line. I love watching his highlight film – he can get 2nd level and crush linebackers in the run game. He stonewalls defensive tackles in pass blocking as well. The most impressive thing is he plays to the echo of the whistle and finishes blocks with a nasty streak. He currently lists offers from Maryland, Bethune-Cookman, and Troy.
Donta’ Marshmon Donta’ Marshmon NC – Southview
A 6’6 310 pound prospect, Donta’ is an intelligent young man, listing a 3.6 GPA on his public profile. Looking at his highlights, his first three clips are impressive knockdown blocks – it is obvious Donta’ has spent some time in the weight room. He moves very well in space in the run game, showing the ability to long-pull and mash linebackers and defensive backs at the 2nd and 3rd levels of the defense. He works well against power rushers off the edge, stuffing them and driving them into the ground at the line of scrimmage. He should gain recruiting interest as he hits the camp circuit this spring and summer.
Derrion Geddis Derrion Geddis 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL JH Rose | 2025 NC – JH Rose
Derrion is a 6’3 300-pound prospect who lists an impressive 83-inch wingspan on his public profile, so I’m sure that will make college coaches interested from the jump. When you look at the film, Derrion excels at getting his powerful upper body on a defender and simply driving him to the ground, whether in the ground game or pass protection. I like that nasty streak in an offensive lineman to help set the tone at the line of scrimmage. Derrion can also get out in space and bury 2nd and 3rd-level defenders in the screen game. He can play both left and right tackle and shows enough athleticism to pull in the run game on long traps and block defensive ends. I’m excited to see Derrion in person at a camp this spring or summer.
Jack Smith – Pine Lake
A three-time All-Conference selection, I have highlighted Jack a few times as he excels on both offensive and defensive lines. He is very athletic at 6’3 and 260 pounds. As an offensive lineman, Jack is a Center who can anchor an offensive line. Especially from a run-blocking perspective, he comes off the ball well in pure drive-block scenarios and puts his man on the ground. He is strong in pass protection and shows the ability to pull and kick out on trap blocks. Jack can also long pull and clear the way against 2nd level defenders well. As a defensive lineman, he is quick off the ball and shoots gaps well, getting instant penetration in the backfield.
Trevor Jenkins Trevor Jenkins 6'3" | 295 lbs | OL East Rutherford | 2025 NC – East Rutherford
Trevor is a 6’3 290-pound prospect who I didn’t know much about before writing this evaluation. He was selected as an All-Conference player and listed 60 pancakes last season. Well, anytime I see that I like to verify with the highlight film, and Trevor produces congruent to that statement. Some of Trevor’s strengths are just straight power football – it is clear that Trevor has put the work in with the weight room. He can drive block off the football very well and puts down linemen on the ground. In pass protection, Trevor shows a good kick step/slide combo against speed rushers that puts him in a position to use his strength to keep them off of the quarterback. I would love to see Trevor up close on the camp circuit this spring and summer.
