Trevor is a big, strong left tackle prospect whose best football might be ahead of him. I think Trevor excels in run blocking – he does a good job of getting movement on defenders once he gets his hands on you. Also, I think Trevor has improved in pass protection throughout his career which has allowed East Rutherford to open up their offense more this season.

Jenkins has a powerful leg drive and good size-strength-speed profile and he’s extremely solid in both pass protection and in the running game. His flashes are as good as anybody in the state as he has plenty of highlights where he puts defenders on their backs or drives them out of the play. Consistency will be the next step, but he’s a guy I could see flying up the rankings with another strong season.

Jenkins has been a stalwart left tackle at East Rutherford for several years, but doesn’t get much recognition outside of his immediate area. He’s nasty in the running game and loves to finish blocks. He’ll occasionally get off-balance, but can usually correct and use his strength to recover. He has good strength in the passing game and with a bit more technique refinement, is a future college talent.
