We take a look at some of the must-know names below. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Omarie Owens</strong> - 5'11" 188 lb. outside linebacker Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. Class of 2025; he's a bit undersized but can hit and is a playmaker. Plays the game on his feet and known for his good range and instincts. Excellent work habits. St. Thomas Aquinas plays for one of the premier programs in the country and is perfectly suited for the guard position. Also plays center and known for his leadership skills. 40 pancake blocks as a junior. 3.9 GPA, he is a member of the class of 2025. Averaged over 7 yards per carry and helped lead Aquinas to a state title. A very physical and tough runner who is very difficult to bring down. Washington has good vision, great burst, and is a shifty and patient runner. 3.5 GPA. @chancewash</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jayden Powell</strong> - 6' 270 lb. is another very talented lineman from state champion St. Thomas Aquinas. Class of 2027, he can play either OG or DT. The coaching staff is very high on Mr. Powell as he plays with a low center of gravity, strong and violent hands, and shows a very quick first step. Dominates the point of attack and shows a great get off. Has quick hands and feet and excellent technique. Normally wins the leverage battle. Naturally strong and tough. 4.3 GPA. Also throws the shotput in track. @josephjrbrandon</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Richard Compton</strong>&nbsp;-&nbsp;6' 160 lbs. is a wide receiver from state champion St. Thomas Aquinas who has impressed everyone who has seen him play. A precise route runner who can catch everything within his frame and shows explosive separation speed after the catch. 4.3 GPA from the class of 2025 and a rising star. @richardtcompton</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Nicholas Romero</strong> - 5'9" 150 lbs. is the kicker for national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas. Just might be the top kicker in the south. Was 81 of 81 and PAT's and 12 of 15 on field goals. Very consistent and accurate all county as a kicker. Definitely has the leg strength to dominate at the next level. 3.9 GPA class of 2025. Plantation American Heritage High School in Florida is a star running back and linebacker who totaled 115 tackles and 14 QB sacks on defense and plays with a high motor and is one of the smarter players in the area. Never takes a play off, he can run through blocks, and he shows good use hands and is able to break down in space and make plays. Very impressive sophomore film. Class of 2026 he is a rising star who is named all county this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Freddie King</strong> - 5'11" 270 lb. noseguard from American Heritage is a class of 2025 dominator up the middle with a great get off who shows excellent use of hands and can dominate against the run. 3.8 GPA. Plays for one of the premier programs nationally and more than hold his own against great competition. Certainly shows the ability to play at the next level. Very impressive junior film, he has a great work ethic and plays in aggressive game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='929664' first='Kymani' last='Morales']</strong> - 6'1" 190 lbs. out of American Heritage is a big-time linebacking prospect who can run. Class of 2026, he put together an outstanding sophomore campaign totalling 12 quarterback sacks and 68 tackles. 4.0 GPA, he has exceptionally quick off the ball, reads well, and has a great burst. Morales has also played a little bit of defensive end. Still growing and I love his attitude. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='834168' first='Mekhi' last='Hicks']</strong> - 5'10" 175 cornerback out of American Heritage High School. An intelligent and active defender with excellent footwork, loose hips, and big-time ball skills. Runs sprints in track and certainly has the confidence to remain a corner at the next level. Plays for one of the premier programs in the country. Class of 2025, he dominates the point of attack, is a leader on offense, and runs well laterally. 350 bench, he shows fast hands and great footwork. Very impressive young man with a 4.1 GPA. In my mind he no doubt has what it takes to play at the next level. @benjamin_diaz65</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Omarion Abraham </strong>- 6'2" 280 lbs. is a defensive tackle from powerhouse American Heritage in Plantation, Florida who amazes scouts with his quickness of the ball, ability to split the double team, and pressure the QB. 73 tackles as a junior. He can dominate the point of attack and plays the game on his feet and can stuff everything up the middle. He can play tackle, guard or center. Can dominate us both a run and pass blocker showing good footwork, strong and aggressive hands, and excellent technique. He plays with an aggression which caught the eyes of the scouts. 3.4 GPA.
