Top 1M District 6 QB Spotlight: Post Season Analysis

With the 2023 season over, I'm doing an analyses of quarterback prospects from every Classification/Region/District in Florida. Doing these analyses allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.       [player_tooltip player_id='404167' first='Cedrick' last='Bailey']- Chaminade-Madonna High c/o 24   6'6 200lbs    Bailey has been one of Florida's top quarterbacks over the last three seasons. He led Chaminade-Madonna to the 1M State Championship this season. Bailey was the top quarterback in the district throwing for 3125 yards, completed 71% of his passes with 47 touchdowns! He also rushed for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bailey signed with NC State and was an early enrollee. Jones led the Sharks to a 5-6 record and a berth into the State Playoffs. He finished second in the district in passing with 1514 yards, completing 52% of his passes with 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown. Jones will be one of the top returning quarterbacks in the district in 2024.   Strengths:   N/A   Film: N/A       [player_tooltip player_id='283752' first='Jorris' last='Shephard']- St. John Paull ll Academy c/o 26   6'2 175lbs   Shephard is a talented up-and-coming prospect in South Florida. As a sophomore last season he finished third in the district throwing for 1061 yards with 7 touchdowns in 9 games. I'll be keeping an eye on Shephard this spring to watch out for his development. He gets it done in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA.   Strengths:   <ul> <li>Stays on balance with a good shoulder width footspacing </li>   <li>Has a smooth delivery</li>   <li>Flashes very good touch on deep balls</li> </ul>   Film: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/19674798/Jorris-Shephard">https://www.hudl.com/profile/19674798/Jorris-Shephard</a>       [player_tooltip player_id='1320804' first='Tracey' last='Tampellini']- Somerset Academy Key c/o 25   5'8 160lbs   Tampellini is a talented athlete that helps out all over the field for the Lions. He led Somerset Key to a 5-5 record finished fourth in the district throwing for 763 yards, completing 51% of his passes with 6 touchdowns. He also rushed for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns, 7 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. Tampellini will be one of the top athletes returning in the district next season.
