J’Marion Burnette J’Marion Burnette 6’1″ | 205 lbs | RB Andalusia | 2024 State AL was a game wrecking weapon out of the backfield for Andalusia all four years of his career there where he consistently put up dominant performances against some of the top teams in the state. Burnette is extremely athletic and has a great build, terrific speed and acceleration, excellent change of direction and make you miss abilities, and plays with a high level of physicality each snap. Burnette doesn’t fear contact and has both the ability to shed off/break tackles and outrun entire defenses with how athletic he is. Over the course of his career he was able to put up a ton of impressive stats- last fall in his senior season he totaled up 85 carries for 649 yards and 9 touchdowns in just 7 total games. With his production being that high, Burnette’s recruitment has been exciting to watch. He decommited from Auburn back in November, evaluated his options elsewhere, and eventually decided to pledge his commitment to Houston this month where he is bound to be a big time player.

Naeem Offord Naeem Offord 6’1″ | 185 lbs | ATH Parker | 2025 State AL is one of the best prospects not just in the state, but in the entire 2025 class- and he just dropped some major news in the recruiting world last week. Offord is an excellent player on all sides of the ball, he’s been able to produce greatly as a rusher, wide reciever, and as an elite defensive back. Offord has some elite athleticism that he displays no matter where he’s lined up- he has excellent size, speed, instincts, hands, and footwork that allow him to consistently make plays in every way possible. It’s evident in his stat sheet, last fall Offord posted up: 14 total tackles, one sack, 5 interceptions, 4 pass breakups, 310 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground, and 208 yards and 2 touchdowns as a receiver. With production like that, Offord has been nationally recruited and picked up a ton offers from top schools all over. Last week however, Offord dropped a bombshell with his recruitment and decided to commit to Ohio State- giving them an elite playmaker in their 2025 class.
Peyton Floyd Peyton Floyd 5’11” | 175 lbs | QB Hewitt-Trussvile | 2024 State AL was a quarterback at Hewitt Trussville that really impressed us a ton over the last few seasons, and this week, he made an announcement regarding his future collegiate career! Floyd is a super accurate passer, delivers with fantastic anticipation, and has the arm strength to really stretch the field as well. All throughout his career at Hewitt Trussville he was a dual threat quarterback that could equally hurt you with his legs as much as with his arm, he provides a really unique skillset to his offense that allows him to move the ball very effectively. Last fall Floyd put that skill set on full display with his 2613 passing yards and 26 touchdowns in the air, as well as his 930 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground. Floyd had a lot of suitors in his recruitment process but made the decision to commit to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College yesterday! With the program they run down there, he’s going to be a huge asset to them.

Joseph Holt Joseph Holt 6’3″ | 180 lbs | DB Parker | 2025 State AL is a playmaking defensive back out of Parker that has really made a name for himself in the recruiting world over the last few weeks. Holt is a high flying DB with a ton of abilities out in coverage- it’s impressive how easy it is for him to lock up receivers and not get beat. Play after play, Holt plays with some terrific physicality that doesn’t allow for wide receivers to match up well against him. Pairing that with his ability to come downfield to impact the running game makes him a versatile weapon in their secondary. Last fall, Holt consistently showed up big on defense and was able to make a lot of plays- he recorded 53 total tackles (33 solo, 20 assisted). Since last fall, teams have been taking notice of his talents and have been reaching out a ton. Holt has had a big February in the recruiting world, listing offers from Arkansas State, Troy, and more over the last few weeks! Keep an eye on him as he’s sure to rake some more in!
