This is one of the deepest Q classes in recent memory.
Following our winter evaluations, several new quarterbacks joined the rankings. These guys have all demonstrated tremendous ability on the field and are set to boom coming soon.
As spring continues, we will be evaluating even more prospects to join this elite QB class.
A quick twitched and explosive athlete at the quarterback position, Adarius McDougle Adarius McDougle 5’11” | 175 lbs | QB Sebastopol | 2025 State MS may find himself in the “athletes” category soon. For now, he exists as a newly added QB to the rankings. McDougle stands at 5’11” 190 and shows plenty of room to continue growing. The junior is an absolute terror to defend in the rushing attack. McDougle runs with great speed and has the ability to kick it into another gear when he hits the open field. He plays with good pad level and has enough toughness to him to shake arm tackles and bowl over defenders that get in his path. This guy’s junior film looks like video game tape. Incredibly gifted athlete that should see some serious buzz coming his way this spring. Would be an ideal fit in triple option attacks at the next level, but could also find himself as a WR/RB or DB.
Totaling over 3,047 passing yards, 1,134 rushing yards, 21 pass TDs, and 15 rushing TDs, Jevarion Glover Jevarion Glover 6’4″ | 185 lbs | QB Amanda Elzy | 2025 State MS was one of the most productive players in the state. The Greenwood, MS product stands at 6’5″ 200 lbs and looks every bit of a next level prospect. Despite his rushing success, Glover is an incredibly refined passer. He stands tall in the pocket and operates with a certain level of confidence that is hard to find. Glover has a smooth drop and plays with a level and even base. He rarely lets his feet escape him. As far as accuracy goes, Glover can make throws to all levels of the field with good timing and precision. As an athlete, this guy can run the ball like the best of them, easily scrambling and creating big plays when he gets in the open field. Super talented prospect that has been adding some good traction from the local junior colleges so far. Ought to blow up as the spring progresses and coaches make their rounds.
A 6’5″ 190 QB from Union High School, U’Darrian Hickman U’Darrian Hickman 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State MS is yet another Uber-productive passer that joins this 2025 class. Throwing for over 2,400 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, Hickman completely changed the Union offense. The junior has a huge arm and can get the ball down the field with a flick of the wrist. Hickman’s compact and swift release allows him to throw with timing and make some ridiculous off platform throws. Although this is a guy that can play well in the pocket, Hickman showed a ton of ability to make plays under chaotic situations in 2023. He can easily navigate and evade incoming rushers to create a huge play down field. Hickman also has a high football IQ and sees the field extremely well for a kid his age. He recently added an offer from University of Faulkner, but do not expect this one to be his last. Hickman has ridiculous potential this upcoming year.
A smooth passer from Columbia, Collin Haney Collin Haney 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Columbia | 2025 State MS was a really impressive riser from his sophomore to junior season. This is the type of guy that can really control an offense and be trusted to make the right reads at all times. Haney plays with a great deal of confidence from the pocket and isn’t afraid to take a hit to deliver a ball downfield. He shows the ability to process quickly and deliver accurate balls to his receiving threats. Columbia ran a lot of RPO concepts that Haney read really well. He can throw at a variety of arm angles which really made Columbia’s RPOs tough to defend. Top it off with the fact this guy is a winner (14-1 on the season) and you have a really good QB prospect. Expect Haney to generate some traction as spring progresses.
