The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit began this weekend in The Woodlands for our Lone Star Showdown. Just north of Houston, we got a chance to see some great players and teams compete from Louisiana and Texas. Throughout the next several days, we're going to have a ton of coverage from the event, breaking down all the top players we saw. And we'd be mistaken if we didn't take time to congratulate our champions. Bootleggers North won the 18U division while CG3-CAT Takeover took home the 15U and 14U titles. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more content coming out of this weekend's tournament and Oklahoma, you're on the clock! We'll see you on March 2nd and 3rd!

In this post, we're taking a look at some of the top best of the best when it came to playmakers from the 15U division. Keep it locked in for more 15U coverage as well as a look at some of the top standouts from the 14U division and 18U.

One of the top standouts from the 15U division while were watched pool play on Saturday was 2028 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1372219' first='Armani' last='Davis'] (pictured above) from Bootleggers 337. Davis, just an eighth grader, was an absolute star and one of the more physically impressive athletes in the 15U division. But Davis wasn't just an good-looking athlete. He backed it up with some spectacular plays. During one game, Davis went up and snagged a pass with one hand in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. Needless to say, we didn't need to see much more from him to realize he was one of the best athletes in attendance. He's got a very bright future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092667' first='Brandon' last='Brown Jr']. - 2026 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - CG3-CAT Takeover

CG3-CAT Takeover would win the 15U division championship on Sunday and they had several players stand out throughout the tournament. But on Saturday, I got a chance to watch them in a few games and 2026 wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1092667' first='Brandon' last='Brown Jr']. was lights out on the field. On offense, he was smooth and always found a way to get open and make plays. On defense, he would shut opponents down. At the time, he was the best player on the field and when we take a look back at the weekend, he was certainly one of the top playmakers. They had a balanced team that made plays throughout but Brown shined bright.

Jaxon Bailey - 2026 Defensive Back - KC Elite

When most people think of 7v7 tournaments and standouts, it's easy to focus on the quarterbacks and wide receivers that are making plays. But defensive backs can shine as well if they put the work in and it's hard to argue that 2026 DB Jaxon Bailey from KC Elite wasn't a top playmaker. Bailey was playing on an island at the cornerback position and he answered the call. In one game in particular, Bailey was challenged multiple times against one of the better receivers in the division and he responded every single time. Bailey has a lot of natural ability and it's going to be fun to see how his high school career continues to develop.
