I really enjoy watching Jefferson County's defense. They fly to the ball and play an aggressive style of defense. Collins plays a major part in allowing them to be able to play this style of defense. He is aggressive and has a nose for the ball. He seems to always find himself around the football. He is a BIG hitter. His ability to get off blocks is what really stands out to me. Williams is also a part of that Jefferson County defense that I really enjoy watching play. He is a true run stopper. He plays in the box really well and makes it difficult for the offense to get anything going on early in a series. Williams plays downhill which makes him very good at stopping the run. Just call him a blanket because that is what he is in pass coverage. He completely blankets the side of the field that he is covering. He is equally good in both zone and man coverages. His game reminds me of a young Jalen Ramsey. He has excellent eye discipline and at the same time is not afraid to step and hit you. In 2023, he finished with 35 total tackles 25 of those were solo. Johnson jumps out at me when I watch his film. He is an electric player that is like lightening in a bottle. He is a lot of fun to watch. He creates multiple mismatches for the opposing defenses all night long. He runs clean crisp routes and is hard to tackle. Hawthorn has a lot of potential. He has a good football IQ. He is typically used more of an athlete, but he stood out to me most when he was playing on the defensive side of the ball. He played both corner and safety. I'm projecting his as more of a corner on the next level. He was used a lot on special teams where he showed he has an extra gear. He gets down the field quickly without being touched a lot of the time.
