Brayden had a very good Sophomore season in 2023. He made 38 tkl and had 1.5 Sacks, 6 PD and 4 INT. His great play helped the St. Xavier Bombers to a 7-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 14.9 points per game. He plays as a FS and CB. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass, plays with good leverage and delivers a nice form tackle behind the LOS for a TFL. Against the pass, he does a great job of reading the QB and times his hands well as he high points the ball and comes down with an INT.
Christian played very well as a Sophomore in 2023. His solid play helped the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders to a 10-win season where they advanced to the Division I Semifinals and held opposing offenses to 16.6 points per game. He plays as a DT. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball, and exhibits very good play strength and use of hands as he easily splits the OG/OT doubleteam. He plays with a very good motor in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he uses his very good combination of quickness and physical toughness to penetrate the LOS quickly. He locates the ball carrier before delivering a big hit in the backfield for a TFL.
Derek played well as a Sophomore in 2023. His outstanding play helped the Elder Panthers to a 7-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a MLB and OLB. Against the run, he is quick to key and diagnose the play. He shows very good play speed combined with excellent range as he plays sideline to sideline and makes the tackle well outside the tackle box preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and shows very quick hands before disengaging from the OT. He exhibits very good closing speed in pursuit before finishing up with a sack.
Highlights
PJ played great as a Sophomore in 2023. His very good play was a bright spot in the 1-9 season of the Lakota East Thunderhawks. He lines up in the slot. He is quick off the LOS and gets open down the seam. He is good in contested catch situations as he does a great job of using his body to box out the DB before showing solid hands as he makes the catch. He displays good contact balance as he keeps his feet moving on contact before falling forward for extra yardage. He displays very good mental toughness as he rises to the occasion in the redzone.

Juan played great as a Sophomore in 2023. His great play helped the Mason Comets to an 8-win season where they advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs and heled opposing offenses to 18.6 points per game. He plays as a NT. Against the run, he is quick off the ball and uses his great use of hands to win battles with his hands inside combined with excellent play strength as he easily overpowers the Center. He quickly locates the RB before making the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the pass, he shows good hustle and play speed as he chases down receivers from behind before making the tackle preventing a potential touchdown.
