Is the 6’2 180 All State QB a FBS quarterback prospect? Probably not but he can play at that level at multiple positions, especially at the WR spot. The best athlete on the field on Friday nights and lines up where his team needs him most. Has shifty feet and is able to dance his way out of trouble when pass protection breaks down. When he decides to turn the ball up field, he has an explosive 1st step and gets to full speed quickly. Great hands at the WR spot and uses his speed to add YAC. Faulkner is definitely a player that D1 schools need to evaluate at multiple positions, not just at QB.
6’1 290 DL Cedartown Bulldogs.
The All State and 7-4A Defensive Lineman of The Year is a hidden gem in the NWGA Area. A workout warrior off the field and has already put up some impressive numbers in the weight room this off season. Diamond put up a 635 squat and a 325 bench press during recent maxes. Trains in the Cedartown weight room which has a reputation as having one of the best strength and conditioning programs in Georgia.
Aggressive up front and brings the intensity on every play. Has the strength to push through bigger OL but also adds the get off the line quickness to get around them if need be. Good speed to pursue QB/RB from sideline to sideline and is a violent tackler when he gets his hand on you. Had a impressive performance in December at the Georgia Elite Classic matched up against some of the top junior offensive lineman in the State.
Myles Dixon
Myles Dixon
6’3 290 DL/OL Heritage (Conyers)
Big bodied guy that can play on either side of the line for you. Was a hidden gem last season but schools have started to take notice this Spring with Georgia Southern extending an offer to Dixon in late January. Helps that he posses good off the field intangibles, carrying a 3.8 GPA in the classroom.
He has a long wingspan that he uses to keep the offensive lineman at bay and the strength to shed the block and make the play. Aggressive blocker on the offensive side of the ball and has good footwork in pass protection. He hit a growing spurt over the last year and if he continues to progress in the weight room will be a highly sought after FBS product this recruiting cycle.
