Jackson Mann
Jackson Mann
Jackson Mann is an energetic second level defender with plenty of physical upside. He is listed at 6’0 187 with good length, which provides him with a wide tackling radius and more room for physical growth. Mann covers a lot of ground and possesses better than usual speed for LB prospects. In fact, he should be considered a position-less player who can move around and chase the ball from several spots. Mann flashes fantastic closing speed and is capable of beating angles and meeting receivers right at the catch point. Mann is extremely underrated, but I believe he checks D1 speed boxes and could be a productive tackler and patroller of the field.
Bowman Brumbeloe
Bowman Brumbeloe
Brumbeloe is a stout center prospect with good size and play strength. He weights in at 6’3 285 and carries his weight pretty well. From a size and strength standpoint, he checks the boxes and should hold his own across several levels. Brumbeloe is a decent athlete who can sneak out to the second level and take on quicker defenders. Once he makes contact, he does a good job of setting against their inside shoulder and shielding off the running lane. He wins with his leverage off the snap, quickly getting his hands up and clearing out the middle by winning with pad level. Brumbeloe is a smooth, strong OL prospect who certainly could play at a small school level.
Joseph Hooks
Joseph Hooks
Hooks is a gritty two-way player that projects long-term as an RB. He possesses a stout 5’10 173 frame and runs with a low center of gravity. He also still has some room for growth, especially in his lower body. He might not be considered a bruiser, but he welcomes contact in the open field and runs hard enough to churn through arm tackles. He won’t wow you with a 40-time, but he shows good football speed, showcased by his ability to catch the corner on defenses and outrun angles. He is a vertical runner, but he does have some start and stop and can create his own yards when he has leverage. Hooks is yet another gritty player from the area who should at least generate some small school buzz.
Aquavious Marbury
Aquavious Marbury
Marbury is an athletic DB prospect with high level sophomore tackle and ball production. He is an athletic 5’11 175 with a good speed profile. He can cover a lot of ground as a tackler and in coverage. He roams center field nicely and stays disciplined in zone with his eyes attached to the QB. As a tackler, he can click downhill from his backpedal in a hurry and meet ball carriers before they catch the edge. For a thinner, younger prospect, he possesses some striking ability and can immediately stun and up-end receivers and RBs in their path. Marbury is still vastly under the radar, but he has all the tools to crack the D1 threshold.
