This is the time of the year where you are able to see kids compete against other great prospects. That is how we are able to evaluate players. Let’s check it out.
Barnes is a dog that knows how to hold his own when he is in the trenches. He is a player that is a tenacious guy when he is in the trenches. At 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, he knows how to use his long arms. He is a player from Duncanville that is already turning heads on the recruiting scene. You can expect to see his stock rise soon. The way that he uses his length to wins battles is amazing. This young man is definitely going to be a power five player on the next level.
Ford is a player that is very aggressive from the edge. I love the way that he is able to use his strength with his length. This young man has a lot of growing that his body is still going to gain more height and weight. I can see Ford being a very dominant player on the next level. At this moment, he is expected to be an edge player on the next level.
Barker is a 2026 quarterback that you guys need to get familiar with. This young man knows how to spin the rock all over the football field. He plays for Galveston Ball, and they are lucky to have him. I think that Barker is going to see a lot more offers come his way this offseason. He is a polished quarterback that is always getting the football to the right receiver, and he knows how to extend plays.
Jonathan Hatton Jr Jonathan Hatton Jr 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Steele | 2026 State TX
Steele is lucky to have the baby-faced running back that loves making plays on the football field. I have been impressed with his game since I first started covering Texas football. I think that this is another guy that we can expect to see on the power five level. He is a strong running back that has good speed. A 6-foot-1, 195-pound boss in the backfield. He makes real nightmares for defensive coordinators.
Kaydon Finley Kaydon Finley 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Aledo | 2026 State TX
Finley is a player that is known for making some big-time catches. This dude is a beast on the islands. He is a long lanky receiver that knows how to use his height and length to his advantage. He is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound wide receiver that is also a speedster on the field. I think that we will also see him playing division one football on the next level. He has some nice sized hands that are known for snatching the football out of the air.
