Lance Johnson Lance Johnson 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL Ramsay | 2025 State AL has been phenomenal over the last two seasons for Ramsay. Since becoming a fulltime starter, Johnson has consistently been able to provide great pass protection and run blocking at the tackle position, no matter who he’s been lined up against. Johnson is extremely agile and can make a lot of crucial blocks in open space- making him really reliable on screen passes and when he’s moving around in the run game. In pass protection, Johnson utilizes his strength and size to really anchor his side of the line. He very rarely gives up any pressure and is able to completely nullify pass rushers on his side of the field. With how well he’s been playing Johnson has been picking up some much deserved attention from the next level recently, listing offers from Illinois State, Austin Peay, and more! Watch out for him this year- with how well he’s played/presented himself, he’s set up for a big year in both recruiting and on the field.
AJ Williams AJ Williams 6’2″ | 270 lbs | OL Clay-Chalkville | 2025 State AL is a offensive guard that has been really impressive to watch at Clay-Chalkville. Now transferring to Thompson, Williams is bringing a ton of talents in run blocking to their offense. What impressed me most with Williams’ tape was his power, leverage, and explosiveness off the line of scrimmage. Immediately after the snap, Williams explodes off the line to make contact with and block defenders. He is able to utilize his power and leverage to effectively drive back defenders without any sort of struggle. In pass protection, Williams has many of the same qualities- he’s overall just a really hard guy to move or get around. Recently Williams has found himself becoming a hot name in the recruiting world, just recently he’s picked up a handful of offers this year, listing schools like Austin Peay, Troy, and more! Keep an eye on him this fall, Thompson is getting a terrific transfer addition on their offensive line in AJ Williams AJ Williams 6’2″ | 270 lbs | OL Clay-Chalkville | 2025 State AL .
Tucker Schwartz Tucker Schwartz 6’3″ | 290 lbs | OL Lake Belton | 2025 State AL has been a fixture of Huntsville’s offense the last few seasons- without him, everything would be a whole lot harder. Schwartz is a dominant offensive tackle with a lot of athleticism that is truly hard to make plays against. Schwartz is highly athletic- it’s seriously impressive watching a guy of his size move as well as he does. Schwartz has some very solid speed and ability to maneuver around the field that makes him immensely valuable in the run game. He has the ability to seal off the edge at the line of scrimmage and can also go step for step with the ball carrier to make key blocks in the open field as well. It’s seriously hard for defenders to work their way around him, he’s an absolute mauler in the run game. Things are starting to look bright for him recruiting wise- this month Schwartz was able to pick up an offer from Air Force. With how much work he’s put in that’s just going to be one of many this year. Lookout for him this fall!
Highlights
Robert McMillian Robert McMillian 6’3″ | 290 lbs | OL Williamson | 2025 State AL is an incredibly reliable left tackle on Williamsons’ stacked offensive line that really impressed us with what he was able to accomplish last season. McMillian is absolutely massive and checks all of the boxes when it comes to his size and physicality- compared to his peers, he is on a whole other level. In addition to his size, McMillian has a ton of strength and abilities as a linemen. It doesn’t matter if its run or pass, he’s going to either make key blocks or act as a brick wall and not allow any pressure. McMillian does a great job using his size and strength to his advantage in pass protection, it’s seriously impossible to find someone that can actually move him when rushing the passer. Recently, McMillian has had a big year in the recruiting world so far- in the past few weeks he’s picked up offers from UCF, Troy, Houston, and more. McMillian is a special talent- keep close watch on him this fall, Williamson has the potential to have one of the best offensive lines in the entire state.
