2025 MS Defensive Players We Need to Discuss More

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are some guys out there that we need to talk about more. These guys are considered some of the top players in the state of Mississippi. I want to do a follow up and see how these guys have been doing. We think that all of these guys are going to play on the division one level one day.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='350936' first='Reginald' last='Vaughn']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vaughn is going to be a player to deal with this season. Vaughn does not talk much, but he is always ready to show up and compete. He is going to be the leader on the Hartfield defense next season. I can see him having a really big season this year. We have yet to see how good he can be when he only has to focus on playing defense. He sometimes has to play the offensive line. This young man is going to be special in college.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='350968' first='DJ' last='Watkins']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watkins is a talented receiver that you have to come play in person. Some kids you just have to pull up and see yourself. Watkins is one of those guys. He plays both ways for his team. We think that he is going to be a defensive back on the next level. Watkins is a very talented player that has a high ceiling.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='648938' first='Jaylon' last='Parnell']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Parnell is a beast that has great instincts on the field. I was able to see him in person for the first time at the Under Armour Combine in Georgia. This guy is a dog that is always around the football. I was able to see that he is a good player in coverage. Parnell is going to be a power five commit later this year. He has all of the tools that he needs to succeed on the division one level. This young man is a beast.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='920545' first='Nik' last='Owens']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Owens is a star that everybody needs to know. This young man is a guy that has good size. He is about 6-foot-3, 225 pounds. I think that he is a player that we will see playing on the division one level. I also think that he is a player that has a great chance to play on the power five level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
