<p><strong>Over the next few weeks we will be breaking down each 6A/5A conference and the likely favorites for Offensive & Defensive POY. There is still a lot yet to be determined with plenty of movement to come. Here are the top athletes returning in the TRL.</strong></p>

<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>1.[player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] DE 26' Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Tishendorf broke out as a sophomore, making 56 total tackles with 20 tackles for loss and 9 sacks. He was an absolute tear coming off the edge. If he can orchestrate a 2nd place TRL finish or higher and keep it close versus West Linn he will be your POY. He earned 1st team all-conference honors last season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>2.[player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] CB 27' West Linn <strong>OFFERS (7) Oregon, Washington, Oregon St, Arizona St</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>One of the nation's top DB's for the 2027 class. Molden was a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection and 2nd team all-state pick. He completely locks up one side of the field for the Lions, putting him in a special category of athlete. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>3.[player_tooltip player_id='285855' first='Baron' last='Naone'] DE 25' West Linn <strong>OFFERS (12) Washington, Tennessee, Arizona St, Oregon St, Wash St</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Naone was a unanimous 1st team all TRL selection at DE causing havoc everywhere. The 4* TE projects offensively but could very well play at the highest level on either side of the ball. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>4.[player_tooltip player_id='766200' first='Treyson' last='Eddleman'] LB 25' Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 1st team all league LB transferred from Sherwood with his talented brother Killian Eddleman, after helping the Bowmen put together one of the most impressive defensive seasons in state history. The TRL is a different animal and I commend the move. We will see how one of the state's fastest rising prospects responds. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>5.[player_tooltip player_id='406770' first='Trevin' last='Laird'] S 25' Tigard</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>You will see Laird make a big jump up the rankings board when updated. The 6-2 200 pounder is a very versatile Safety who can also play the WLB spot. He earned 2nd team all TRL honors after making 73 tackles, with 7.5 TfL's, 7 PBUs, and 3 INTs. Depending on how Tigard does he will be a favorite for POY honors. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>6.[player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez'] DL 25' Lake Oswego </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 2x 1st team all-league, and all state DL has added some significant size (6-2 240) and will be one of the best in the TRL. If Lopez gets out on the camp circuit I would expect his stock to jump this off season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>7.[player_tooltip player_id='278532' first='Calvin' last='Evans'] LB 25' Tualatin</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The T-Wolves graduate a ridiculous amount of talent and Evans will carry a responsibility in leading the D. He was the TRL's leading tackler last season (102), adding 4 sacks, with 16 tackles for loss, 4 PBU's, and 2 INTs. One of the state's most impressive stat lines. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>8.[player_tooltip player_id='312496' first='Hudson' last='Hardy'] OLB 25' West Linn</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Hardy projects on D but will likely carry the ball on a consistent basis, so we will see how much time he spends on defense. The 6-3 220-pound OLB is an unquestioned D1 talent when healthy, so the sky's the limit. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>9.[player_tooltip player_id='406755' first='Zyon' last='Floyd'] CB 25' Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 1st team all-conference Safety projects more at CB but helps his recruitment with his versatility. His ability to break on balls is unique. Most importantly he has legit D1 speed which will help after making 47 tackles with an INT last season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>10.[player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'] DE 25' Lake Oswego</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>I expect the big 6-4 220-pound DE/OLB to have a POY type season. He earned 2nd team all TRL honors as a junior but will cause problems on the line opposite his talented teammate Lopez. Accounting for both up front will be tough. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>11.[player_tooltip player_id='904368' first='Ivan' last='Morales'] LB 25' Tigard</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>One of Oregon's breakout performers. Morales made 90 tackles and was all over the field, literally keeping the Tigers in ball games on D. If they can manufacturer some offensive support, they will be in good shape. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>12.[player_tooltip player_id='1094719' first='Colt' last='Ness'] CB 25' Tigard</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The standout basketball player was one of the state leaders in picks (5) and will be thrust in to spotlight against some of the NW's top WR's. If Ness can win most of those battles he will project as a 1st or 2nd team all-state DB. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>13.[player_tooltip player_id='769921' first='Silas' last='Reynolds'] OLB 26' West Linn</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Reynolds will be one of the top two-way athletes in the state, earning honorable mention all-conference honors at OLB. He has the speed to be an elite WR, but may project on D, where he could end up being a 6-4 220-pound backer collegiately. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>14.[player_tooltip player_id='754631' first='Kayce' last='Tinner'] OLB 25' Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 6-5 Tinner has all the potential in the world. His 43 tackles and 4 tackles for loss are just a glimpse of what he could do. His physical presence will be crucial against the state's best. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>15.[player_tooltip player_id='285869' first='Ryan' last='Holmes'] DE 25' West Linn</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The 2nd team all TRL D lineman comes from a talented family. He has the potential of having a monster senior campaign as the Lions are loaded everywhere and he will be tough to stop 1 on 1. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>15.Zach Vandenbrink LB 26' West Linn</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for the state's top baseball player to be one of the best on the football field as well. I could see him having a career similar to his brother [player_tooltip player_id='152361' first='Ryan' last='Vandenbrink'], who earned 1st team all TRL honors on O & D and is committed to Oregon St for baseball. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>15.[player_tooltip player_id='754603' first='Tai' last='Tovey'] DL 25' Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Tovey had an outstanding junior year making 59 total tackles, with 11 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. It would not surprise me to see him at the top of this list, very similar to his brother who was POY. </p>
