Prep Redzone currently has over 300 players ranked in the Class of 2024, however, more than 100 other Kansas Athletes have made college commitments to play football.

Here is a look at eight of those players all of whom have signed with in-state MIAA Division II programs. It is a group made up of predominately offensive linemen and linebackers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180344' first='Bobby' last='Trujillo'], LB, 6'0”, 215, Emporia (Emporia State)

I saw Trujillo and the Spartans compete in a preseason jamboree last fall. I was impressed with his quickness and football IQ. He finished with 83 total tackles during his senior season and saw varsity playing time during all four of his high school seasons. He racked up 284 career tackles and could run the ball if the Hornets' coaches ever got in a backfield pinch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180352' first='Wyatt' last='Holland'], LB, 5'11”, 185, Louisburg (Fort Hays State)

Louisburg's Holland is headed out west to play for Chris Brown's Fort Hays State Tigers. He is a hard-nosed linebacker who finished with 80 total tackles during his senior season. He has plus speed and can cover tight ends and running backs on pass routes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180349' first='Noah' last='Rogers'], OL, 6'1”, 260, Pittsburg (Pittsburg State)

The Gorillas and new head coach Tom Anthony stayed close to home to add three big options to their offense line. Pitt State has him listed as a defensive lineman in their press release on the class, but he can play on either side of the line. He has the speed to play as an edge rusher or a dangerous pulling guard. Like several Purple Dragons throughout history, they watched the Gorillas as kids and then ended up playing for their hometown college team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180350' first='Samuel' last='Brewer'], OL, 6'5”, 280, Parsons (Pittsburg State)

Brewer is a long lineman who looks poised to be a future tackle on the Pitt State offensive line. He was a key cog on a solid Parsons offensive unit that led the Vikings to a 9-2 season last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180351' first='Tristan' last='Voss'], OL, 6'4”, 250, St. Mary's Colgan (Pittsburg State)

Voss is the opposite of Rogers. Pitt State has him listed as an offensive line recruit, but he had a dominant senior season on the defensive line. He finished with 76 total tackles last fall for the Colgan Panthers. He has a knack for creating turnovers as he recorded two forced fumbles and recovered two fumbles as a senior. He could be an interior guy no matter which side of the ball the Gorillas end up utilizing him on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180346' first='Wade' last='Enman'], OL, 6'3”, 285, Paola (Washburn)

Enman had several college offers but announced his commitment to Washburn on January 30. He projects as more of a tackle than a guard. Enman is one of seven offensive linemen the Ichabods have signed in this particular class. He is one of the smaller ones, so he might have a redshirt season ahead of him, but he is tough and will compete with the rest for playing time.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180347' first='Tyler' last='Maslowski'], LB, 5'11”, 195, Blue Valley North (Washburn)

Maslowski was a tackling machine for the Mustangs during his senior season. He racked up 108 total tackles and nine of those resulted in lost yardage. He is one of two players from Blue Valley North who were unranked, but have found a college home in Topeka.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180345' first='Austin' last='Boulton'], RB, 5'8”, 210, Blue Valley North (Washburn)

Boulton is a hard-running sneak back from Blue Valley North. He rushed for over 800 yards during his senior season. Washburn is bringing in a ton of talent from this Class of 2024, so Boulton will have plenty of competition at his position. He could shine as a return man on special teams.
