Plenty of names are heading to play college ball in 2024, who will follow their paths and light up the gridiron during Friday night lights in 2024 to showcase their talents for the next level. Here are five prospects I expect to shine in the upcoming fall:

Greenwood wide receiver Isaiah Arrington Isaiah Arrington 5’11” | 170 lbs | WR Greenwood | 2025 State AR is someone I expect to take over an expanded role in 2024. He displays good ball tracking skills with great stop and go ability, forcing the defenders into a blender. Has a variety of moves to beat his man at the line of scrimmage, making himself a potential vertical threat. He as the potential to be a versatile threat at the next level whether it’s vertical, sweeps or putting him in RPO situations. I’m excited to see what he does in the upcoming season.
2023 Stats: 38 rec – 582 yards (15.3 avg) and 9 TDs.

Bryant wide receiver Van Thomas III Van Thomas III 6’0″ | 160 lbs | WR Bryant | 2026 State AR is going to be a highly recruited prospect once his senior year comes along. The 4.5 40 speed does not only allow him to stretch the field, but to create separation almost immediately. He’s a true route runner that’s great at selling at the stem of the route, using his legs to create that separation as previously mentioned. Displays consistency in his hands, making himself a reliable target for his quarterback. Expect him to make this upcoming season a FULL showcase to recruiters in the nation.

Hamburg wide receiver Anthony Smith Anthony Smith 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Hamburg | 2025 State AR is a true big body, 1 on 1 jump ball threat down the field. He displays good body control and body tracking skills during the jump ball situations. His hands are immaculate, and the boundary is his friend, his best route is the go ball or corner. I expect him to have another impressive year in 2024, showcasing his hands to colleges around the nation.

Van Buren wide receiver Trenton Cooley Trenton Cooley 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Van Buren | 2025 State AR is a field stretcher with his 4.6 40 speed out wide. He truly displays high football IQ in finding the soft spots between coverages and settling down. That truly makes it easier for his quarterback and not to mention he has good hand-eye coordination. I expect him to have another huge year in 2024 and showcase his skillset to college recruiters.
2023 Stats: 86 rec – 1,222 yards (14.21 avg) and 12 TDs.

Prescott wide receiver Dwayne White Dwayne White 6’4″ | 195 lbs | WR Prescott | 2025 State AR is a 3-star wideout with a current offer from Colorado State. He’s a natural playmaker with the ball in his hands over whether it’s vertical, in the screen game or RPP situations. He makes his quarterbacks life easier as he is a true YAC (yards after catch) threat. Displays good separation skills and the ability to catch trough contact. More offers will be coming in hot once he dives deeper into his senior year.
2023 Stats: 55 rec – 960 yards (17.46 avg) and 11 TDs.
