Quebec is known for producing some of the best high school talent in all of Canada with many of the top talents garnering NCAA Power Five offers. Today we are going to highlight the top talents to know for the class of 2025 as many of the talents highlited below will end up playing on Saturday for the best college football programs in the U.S.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150106' first='Pepe' last='Gonzalez'] (Collège André-Grasset) - QB

[player_tooltip player_id='1150106' first='Pepe' last='Gonzalez'] is the best quarterback that I have evaluated so far in the class of 2025. Listed at 6'2" 175lbs, Pepe has the prototypical size that ever Power 5 programs covets but he also is a very good athlete as he has a forty yard dash time of 4.82s and a shuttle time of 4.78s. He has excellent pocket mobility as he routinely climbs in the pocket to evade edge rushers often times resetting the pocket to throw down field but he is also excellent at scrambling outside of the pocket when it breaks down. I would classify Pepe as a scrambler not a runner because when he is getting outside of the pocket he is looking to pass the ball not run it himself. Pepe has the best arm talent in the country as he can make every throw on the field with juice on the ball, he also is an exceptional ability to throw on the run as he changes his arm angle and shortens his throwing motion to get the ball to the open receiver. He can also layer balls with touch to the intermediate level as well as the redzone. Pepe is also an anticipatory thrower on his first read and he can process well enough to get to his second and third read while still in the pocket. Pepe has everything a major Power 5 program covets with the physical tools and the ability to actually play quarterback, with that said there should be no reason why Pepe doesn't get offers from major NCAA Power 5 programs.

Sammy-Joe Sudah (Collège Vanier) - DT

Sammy-Joe Sudah is just an absolute game wrecker at the high school level as he has a unmatched size, strength combination plus elite hand usage and a great motor. Coming in at 6'4" 285lbs, Sammy is just bigger and stronger than every single interior offensive lineman that he goes up against. To be such a dominant player at defensive tackle you can't just rely solely on your physical tools because you can get double or triple teamed on almost every snap on the interior and Sammy doesn't just rely on his physical tools as he is elite at using his hands to avoid getting blocked. He has the full package of moves with his hands whether it be the push/pull, the swim move, the chop down and the rip under, the fact is that Sammy has elite hands. He also has a relentless motor that allows him to finish on run plays down the field as well as getting additional sacks due to his effort. Sammy has enough speed and size to play both 1 technique and 3 technique on the defensive line at the next level. Sammy should be able to get on field as a freshman for NCAA Power 5 programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150104' first='Jerry' last='Momo'] (Collège Champlain-Lennoxville) - RB

[player_tooltip player_id='1150104' first='Jerry' last='Momo'] is the best all around running back in the class of 2025. Listed at 6'1" 209lbs, Jerry is strong and sturdy enough to run between the tackles on inside zone runs but he also displays excellent patience to allow the blocking to set up on power, counters and duo runs as well. Jerry also has excellent vison and cutting ability that allows him to fit seamlessly in a zone run scheme on top of having great patience behind the line which allows him to also be a clean fit in a gap run scheme as well. Jerry is also a dynamic athlete as he has routinely shown on tape to have the acceleration, speed and agility to get outside of the tackles and separate in the open field as well as being able to make defenders miss. He also is a very good receiver who can run very good routes out of the slot but he still has even more potential to unlock as a pass catcher. Jerry should be highly coveted by multiple NCAA Power 5 programs as someone who can immediately contribute to a running back group with the potential of being a every down back.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150102' first='Ambroise' last='Duplessis'] (Collège Champlain-Lennoxville) - DE

[player_tooltip player_id='1150102' first='Ambroise' last='Duplessis'] is an excellent defensive edge prospect and in my opinion he is the best edge prospect in the province. Coming in at 6'4" 220lbs, Ambroise is a flat out stud with room to grow. He has excellent first step quickness that allows him to get up field in an instant. Ambroise also has an array of pass rush moves starting with his favorite, which is his Bend ability, which is really good for someone of his age but he can improve his Bend even more as he gets stronger and if he can get even lower to the ground to unlock clean wins as he already has great acceleration off the line. He also has great football IQ as he has learned how to set up offensive tackles throughout the game where he doesn't rely just on his Bend sometimes he might swim inside or rip through or even just bull rush. He can improve his hand usage to not allow hands on by offensive tackles but he makes up for it with elite compete as he is always playing to the whistle. Ambroise has all of the tools to be a starting level defensive end at the NCAA FBS level.

Yves-André Nenon (Campus Notre-Dame de Foy) - DB

Yves-André Nenon is the best defensive back prospect in the province and one of the best in the province. Listed at 6'1" 185lbs, Yves-André is rangy, super smart center field type safety. He has excellent range as he has great speed and vision with the ability to match up as a slot corner in man coverage, he can play as the free safety in Cover 1 or 3 on top of being able to play an exceptional deep half in Cover 2. He also has excellent ball skills as he plays through the hands of the receiver to break up passes and he doesn't drop interceptions. Yves-André has excellent football IQ as he doesn't cover grass in zone coverage and he follows the eyes of the quarterback tremendously well in zone coverage leading to him being able to get underneath routes to get interceptions. He is also a good run defender as he is always willing to come downhill to make a tackle and has very good run/pass recognition. Yves-André is highly talented defensive back with a very good frame who should only get better and he can easily project to be a Swiss army knife type of player on a FBS level defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150099' first='Thomas' last='Leroux'] (Campus Notre-Dame de Foy) - QB

[player_tooltip player_id='1150099' first='Thomas' last='Leroux'] is the second best quarterback prospect in the province but that is no slight because Thomas is an excellent prospect thanks to his dynamic athleticism and arm talent. Listed at 6'0" 180lbs, Thomas has to be a great athlete to overcome in his average size and luckily he is. He is dynamic in the run game as he can make defenders miss and separate in the open field but he also uses his athleticism to allow him to make throws out of structure. He is constantly able to get outside of the pocket and throw on the run with accuracy while also having juice on the ball. His great arm talent is also evident inside of the pocket has he has great arm strength but his ability to throw with touch and layer throws at all three levels is what makes him standout. Make no mistake Thomas is a great quarterback prospect who should get FBS offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150097' first='Mika' last='Lapostolle'] (Spartiates Vieux Montréal) - RB

[player_tooltip player_id='1150097' first='Mika' last='Lapostolle'] is an excellent running back prospect in the class of 2025 so much so that I have him ranked #2 behind another running back that we have highlighted [player_tooltip player_id='1150104' first='Jerry' last='Momo']. Listed at 5'10" 190lbs, Mika is an excellent athlete with tremendous speed, agility and cutting ability combined with very good field vison, all of which is why he is ranked the #2 running back for me. Watching the tape Mika has break away speed that you only see in high level track athletes as he often looks to be moving at a different speed than everyone else. He is such a smooth, efficient runner that he can make defenders miss in the backfield, in one on one situations and in the open field. He can also cut multiple different ways in any direction whether that be a quick one cut to explode through the hole or a jump cut to bounce backside Mika can truly do it all. Mika has the speed and the cutting ability to play well in a gap scheme but I think he is best suited in a zone run scheme where he can use his excellent field vision to pick the hole before exploding downfield as he has a knack for seeing the holes before they develop. Mika truly is an exceptional running back prospect who has the ability if he can grow as a pass catcher to challenge for the RB #1 spot in my class of 2025 rankings, he should have no shortage of NCAA Power 5 offers to choose from.
