Doing these analyses allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Lorenzo Maurceri- Lemon Bay High c/o 24
6’4 205lbs
Maurceri was very productive in 2023; leading the Manta Rays to a 10-2 season, district champs, and into the State regional finals. Maurceri led the district this season, throwing for 1178 yards, completing 55%, and 10 touchdowns. Maurceri also rushed for 671 yards and 7 touchdowns! Maurceri was awarded team MVP this season for Lemon Bay. He currently has an offer from Concord University.
Strengths:
Calmly climbes the pocket and throws darts down the field
Arm talent to make every throw at all 3 levels
Sneaky runner who can rip off big runs
Jordan Johnson- Booker High c/o 25
6’2 230lbs
Johnson was a big reason that Booker made it to the State Final 4. He split time and still finished second in the district throwing for 992 yards, completed 56% of his passes with 14 touchdown passes. Coaches need to keep an eye him over the Spring. Big upside!

Prototype build
Arm strength to make every throw necessary
Accuracy at all 3-levels
Alexander Diaz- Booker High c/o 25
6’3 230lbs
Diaz split time as the starter this season and was solid this season. He played a big part in helping Booker have an outstanding season. Diaz finished third in the district throwing for 847 yards with 9 touchdowns. Bookers, QB competition in the Spring will be interesting. Diaz currently has an offer from UT-Martin.
Strengths:
Arm talent is evident on film
Quick release
Can put the ball on a rope through tight windows
Caleb Rhodes- Bayshore High c/o 24
6’1 220lbs
Rhodes really played well this season for the Bruins. He finished fourth in the district throwing for 705 yards, completing 59% of his passes, with 10 touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. Rhodes’ solid play this season has earned him some recognition from colleges. He has over 8 small school offers.
Strengths:
Good size
Fast processor (4.3 GPA)
Throws with a quick compact release
