Doing these analyses allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Wells Bettenhausen Wells Bettenhausen 6'5" | 210 lbs | QB Walton - Defuniak Springs | 2025 FL – Walton High c/o 25
6’5 215lbs
Bettenhausen was really good in 2023; he led the Braves to a 11-1 record, district championship, and into the Regional semifinals of the State Playoffs. Bettenhausen was the top quarterback in a talented QB district throwing for 2658 yards, completed 66% of his passes with 30 touchdowns. He also rushed for 186 yards and 5 touchdowns. Bettenhausen is receiving interest from schools like Louisville and Troy. His recruiting is sure to heat up over the Spring.

- Accuracy to fit the ball through tight windows
- Comfortable throwing off platform
John Nicholas- West Florida High c/o 24
6’3 205lbs
Nicholas was impressive throughout the season for the Jaguars. He finished second in the district throwing for 2024 yards, completing 68% of his passes with 25 touchdowns. He also finished with 233 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. Nicholas is committed to the University of West Florida.
Strengths:
- Smart distributor that works his way through his progressions
- Confident
- Packs plenty of arm strength to fit the ball in tight spaces
Ryan Huff- Pensacola Catholic High c/o 25
6’3 200lbs
Huff was outstanding this season leading the Crusaders to a 11-3 record and into the final four of the State Playoffs! He finished third in the district in passing, throwing for 2018 yards, completing 57% of his passes with 14 touchdowns. Huff is one of the top returning quarterbacks in the State in 2024. He currently has offers from Ole Miss, UCF, FAMU, New Mexico State, Liberty, Samford and Toledo.
Strengths:
- Possesses a strong arm and can make every throw on the field
- Athleticism to throw on the run
- Possesses a good feel to climb the pocket and throw with accuracy
