We take our next look at the impressive 2025 class that hails from Winnipeg’s Oak Park Secondary, as we handed out next-level grades to a handful of prospects from the Raiders program as we sweep thru Winnipeg looking for some of the top next-level talent Manitoba’s capital has to offer.
Onan shows off a stretchy frame at 6’0 203 pounds that shows off plenty of fluidity with his route-running skillsets that are shown. I also like the vision this young man shows off in short spaces as he doesn’t need much room to operate and show off his speed around the edges of the inside box. He also shows off a north-south runner that even though he has a sound next-level frame at the running back position he shows elusiveness with his athleticism getting to the outside, as a 2025 prospect that looks like a next level fit to me.

A big armed southpaw that has rose his stock since I first covered him in 7v7 a couple years ago is another 2025 prospect out of Oak Park you need to know ASAP. The quick release that Ryan shows off has certainly improved since that first live evaluation, and even though this kid has always been poised in the pocket I saw him take it up a notch in the 2023 season. He also has gotten smoother with his touch especially on intermediate and deep routes as his ball placement has soared significantly. He logged over 1800 yards as a junior and if I were a college recruiter, I would buy stock in this 2025 prospect sooner rather than later.

Colby is a 5’11 180 pound defensive back from Oak Park that impresses me with his ball-tracking and instincts as this kid just has a strong knack for quickly finding the ball and positioning himself in the proper spot. He also shows longer length with all the athleticism he offers when utilizing his vertical. He also shows off some reactive athletic movement and can play from sideline to sideline with all the intuition this young man plays with. With a constantly catchy first step, I like Colby’s next-level chances.
Xavier Brunel-Torrie Xavier Brunel-Torrie 6'0" | 245 lbs | DL Oak Park | 2025 CAN
Xavier Brunel-Torrie Xavier Brunel-Torrie 6'0" | 245 lbs | DL Oak Park | 2025 CAN
Xavier is a 6’0 245 pound 2025 defensive tackle from Oak Park, that certainly impresses with the power of his hands from a leverage perspective. He shows the downhill movement with his striking ability that gets his defender off balance with their feet, providing him quick space to maneuver into the backfield. No question that Xavier plays with a feisty running motor and shows off well-versed hand-technique which I certainly can see great upside as we look ahead at his skillsets in the coming years. He’s a under the radar prospect I would love to find on the Twitter app, as I believe he has a bright future.
Jack is a 6’1 290 pound offensive guard whose tape shows off some raw cuts, but you can certainly see almost everything this young man brings to the table with a plethora of different skillsets. I have always been impressed with OL prospects that can multi engage with solid balance, and Jack shows how well he can win reps with his pad-level and drive them down into the second level. He can develop with his foot speed this offseason with his pull-blocking, as I love this kid’s finish and there is certainly room to grow with creating more of that downhill physicality to make that finish even more forceful. Another Raider from this 2025 list that has the upside I would want on a college roster.
The one consistent skillset I see from the first clips on tape from Eman is just how well glued he is in his wide receiver within his first two clips on tape, as this kid doesn’t give you an inch. Even at 5’10 170 pounds, this young man gets downhill with instinct, as his change of direction is swift and I believe there is a higher ceiling for him to achieve this offseason even further. Those strides downhill are also longer than his measurables will show you as one of Winnipeg’s most intriguing defensive backs in the 2025 class.
