Beierly committed to Arizona in November but flipped to Washington when the Huskies hired former Arizona coach Jedd Fisch.
As a junior, Beierly threw for 197 yards per game and ran for 56 yards per game. He had 17 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing touchdowns.
Beierly was the MVP of the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in 2023 and made a big name for himself last offseason. He is very strong and uses his whole body to get good velocity on his throws.
Highlights
Santa Margarita outside linebacker Gage Burnett Gage Burnett 6’1″ | 230 lbs | LB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Cal Poly on Monday.
Burnett was second on the Eagles in tackles last season with 79, two sacks and a forced fumble.
He chose Cal Poly over six other schools that offered him including Air Force, Army and Campbell.
Burnett is the first linebacker in Cal Poly’s 2024 recruiting class and the 12th player from California in the class.
Tustin class of 2027 star Taven Epps Taven Epps 6’4″ | 210 lbs | LB Tustin | 2027 State CA added four offers this week.
Cal, Nevada, USC and Washington all offered Epps.
Epps had 38 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions as a freshman for Tustin this season. He is up to seven offers now.
Oak Hills class of 2024 offensive lineman Paki Finau Paki Finau 6’5″ | 265 lbs | OL Oak Hills | 2024 State CA announced he is transferring from Washington.
Finau early enrolled at Washington in early January, but when coach Kalen DeBoer left the school for Alabama, Finau joined other teammates in the transfer portal.
He told Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he hasn’t ruled out staying at Washington because he has a positive relationship with the new coaching staff. Finau ideally wants to play for offensive line coach Scott Huff.
St. Francis (La Canada) class of 2025 offensive lineman Ata Matau Ata Matau 6’4″ | 315 lbs | OL St. Francis | 2025 State CA had a big week picking up six major offers.
Kansas, Cal, Colorado, Air Force, Ohio State and Penn State all offered the fast-rising lineman.
