When it comes to building football programs, very few have the formula that Willis May has.

The veteran coach has had several influences along the way, and no matter where he has been in his career, there are several things that go into building his programs.

Coming off a 6-4 season, the objective this off-season is to continue what the Wolfpack have done on the football field, but also in the classroom.

As important as it is to teach and place his student/athletes on the football field, May is equally as hard-working to get his players right in the classroom.

As this team approaches spring and looks toward the 2024 season, the building that took place a year ago will continue this off-season with the returning players.

Among that group of prospects includes 2025 prospects Zajarrius Gibson (RB/LB – 2.4 GPA), T.D. Green (WR/DB, 6-2, 170 – 2.8 GPA), Danilo Ibarra (OL/DL, 5-11, 257 – 3.4 GPA), Victor Jenkins (RB/SS, 5-10, 200 – 3.0 GPA), Shuntavian Smith (OL/DL, 6-1, 255 – 3.2 GPA), Jessie Taylor (LB/TE, 6-2, 200 – 2.7 GPA) and linebacker/fullback Rashad Taylor (6-0, 208 – 2.8 GPA).

UNDERCLASSMEN ARE LEARNING

As the rising senior class gets ready to take a lead role, the underclassmen are set to step up.

Class of 2026 (rising juniors) Isaiah Bernadel (FS, 5-9, 160 – 2.4 GPA), Will Bichler (QB, 6-2, 215 – 2.7 GPA), Quinn Enguita (DE/TE, 6-3, 180 – 4.0 GPA) and receiver Joshua Raphael (5-9, 155 – 3.5 GPA) are solid.

The class of 2027 rising sophomores are anxious as well – with Will Bianks (RB/DB, 5-9, 165 – 2.9 GPA), Ja'Dell Carter (WR/DB, 6-3, 190 – 2.5 GPA) and two-way lineman Jeremiah Singleton (6-2, 280 – 2.5 GPA).
