Faalave-Johnson was a dynamic two-way playmaker for San Diego’s D-I champs this season, rushing for 700 yards and 11 TDs on 69 carries. He does a good job of stretching the defense and sticking his foot in the ground to get downhill on outside runs and flashes the vision to quickly recognize lane development. He shows great balance as a runner when absorbing and bouncing off contact and can make defenders miss at the second level. Fa’alave Johnson, who transferred to Cathedral Catholic in December, picked up a pair of MW offers from San Diego St. and Colorado St. in August.

Williams flashed the explosive athleticism and playmaking that helped him pick up four D-I offers before taking his first high school snap. He’s a dynamic vertical threat with the speed to stress the secondary and the hands and ball-tracking to finish plays downfield. He’s a dangerous player in the screen game that can take advantage of space and make the initial defender miss. Shows great intangibles in his commitment as a blocker on offense and pure effort as a tackler from his DB spot. Williams’ impressive early offer list includes Washington, Penn St., Arizona, SDSU, Colorado St., and San Jose St.
Flores was the leading rusher for San Diego’s D-I champs, totaling over 650 yards and 7 TDs on 145 carries. He’s a compact back (5’10″/205) that runs with balance and power behind his pads. He shows flashes of receiving skillset out of the backfield and is a strong runner through initial contact around the LOS. Flores is one of the latest young talents to depart St. Augustine and join Cathedral Catholic after the recent coaching changes for the reigning D-I section champs.
Cooper made plays as one of the top tacklers for St. Augustine’s strong defense with 90 total on the season. He’s an extremely active tackler from his S spot that covers ground with his natural range, closes space aggressively downhill, and is constantly flying to the football. He’s an athletic, fluid mover that can change directions, move laterally, and break on the ball with burst. Cooper established himself early on as one of the best tackling DBs in San Diego’s 2027 class this season.

McIntyre showed promising traits, skillset, and agility as a slot WR and DB. He’s effective operating the shallow-intermediate areas over the middle of the field and can create separation with quick, sudden breaks. He’s a versatile, quick-twitch athlete that can line up in a variety of spots on both sides of the ball and impact the game in multiple ways. McIntyre is another young Escondido talent to keep an eye on next season, along with 2027 QB Caden Thompson Caden Thompson 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Escondido | 2027 CA and 2026 WR Josh Gonzales.
