We saw multiple prospects turn heads throughout the camp, as players ranging from grades 5 through 8 made jaw dropping plays. After all was said and done, these rising stars balled out and were picked as best of the best for the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase at offensive line and defensive line.
OFFENSIVE LINE:
Donley is a Class of 2028 offensive tackle from Decatur, IL. He measured in at 6’6, 322 lbs at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase and is freakishly athletic, especially considering his size. However, Donley isn’t just talented because of his size or his raw ability. He is a physical tackle, who delivers a strong punch, is light on his feet, and displays polished technique. As Donley heads off to high school next season, he is sure to be an elite high school prospect in the Land of Lincoln for years to come.
Carson McCoy
Carson McCoy
McCoy is an impressive offensive linemen in the Class of 2028 at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. He primarily lined up at center, delivering accurate snaps all on every rep and showcasing polished footwork and strong technique. McCoy plays with low pad level and has tremendous lower body strength that allows him handle bull rush by bigger interior defensive linemen. Keep an on on McCoy over the next several years.
Brooks is a 5’11, 284 lbs offensive linemen out of Indiana. He played well throughout the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase, as the Class of 2028 star played with a strong base and polished technique. Brooks is a smooth kick stepper, who stays square and doesn’t give defenders the edge when blocking. He dominated nearly every rep in 1-on-1’s, stifling his opponents. A rising star in recruiting, Brooks is set to be a playmaker at the high school level.

DEFENSIVE LINE:
Downing is a 5’7, 180 lbs edge rusher from Wisconsin. He displayed tremendous pass rushing skills during the individual and 1-on-1’s portion of the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. Downing possesses a quick first step, great bend, and polished hands. His footwork and technique were next level, which ultimately earned Downing Defensive Line MVP honors. The Class of 2028 game wrecker will be making plays for Arrowhead High School in no time.

Justin Allen Jr
Justin Allen Jr
Allen is a 5’10, 224 lb defensive end from Indiana. A part of the Class of 2028, he showcased the ability to rush from both the edge and interior defensive line spots. Allen has a strong lower half, allowing him to knock opposing offensive linemen off the ball. He also has the quickness to beat the snap and bend around linemen to sack the quarterback. He was highly impressive during the 1-on-1 portion of the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase and will continue to get better throughout his high school career.
Damian Brue
Damian Brue
Brue measured in at 5’10, 197 lbs at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. The Class of 2028 defensive linemen out of Chicago dominated throughout the 1-on-1 portion of camp. He plays with a high motor and showcased the ability to win matchups in a variety of ways. He can win with speed, power, or athleticism. Keep an eye on this rising star in Brue as he heads off to high school to continue his domination next year.
