Offseason brings about big-time verbal offers

It's that time of the year when high school football college offers are flying all over social media. PRZ scout Drew Johnson has been doing his best to keep track of all the action. With numerous talented athletes in the Sunshine State, college coaches are vying for their attention. The offers are pouring in from Division I to Division III, and it's an exciting time for the student-athletes. Let's take a closer look at some of the recruits who picked up recent and notable offers.   Antwann Raymond | RB | 2025 | CAI | @antwan_official   Recent offers: South Carolina, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Texas A&M   It's been a long time coming for 2025 running back Antwan Raymond. The 3-star prospect has made the most of his move from Canada, totaling over 1,000 rushing yards in five games playing for Clearwater Academy International. Now he's starting to gain national attention but for Raymond, this was always in the works.   Michael Clayton | 2026 | Seminole | @MikeClaytonQB1   Recent offers: Miami, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Toledo   Clayton is starting to pick up much-deserved buzz from college coaches as he's earned verbal offers from big-time Power 4 schools such as Miami and Ole Miss in the past week. The 6-4 signal-caller is set for a huge offseason where he can show off his legitimate arm talent and upside. Look out for more offers to continue rolling in.   Malik Morris | ATH | 2026 | Lakeland | @MalikMoriss43_   Recent offers: Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Florida    We have found a true Power 5 recruit and guaranteed playmaker at the next level in Lakeland's 2026 Malik Morris. Who knew this kid could run the ball so effectively? Head coach Marvin Frazier who watched him day in and day out at practice made a smart decision to start letting Morris tote the rock earlier in the regular season. Morris is a BEAST at linebacker but the sophomore could have a future running the football. This kid has developed into the Real Deal since first laying eyes on him. Really good frame combined with long arms and a nice burst gets the job done in pass coverage. It's the on-field IQ and confidence at the position that makes him a special recruit for the future. Look for a continued uptick in college interest as we head into the offseason period. Jenkins is an electric athlete with sticky-glue hands and is a home run threat after the catch. Jenkins has flashed good route-running skills and initial release while using basketball-esque hops to beat defenders mid-air for contested catches. He's also displayed vapor speed to beat defenders in coverage and is equally lethal in open space. A rising prospect that should be on all Florida universities' radar.   Girard Pringle | RB | 2025 | Armwood | @GirardPringle   Recent offers: Colorado, Indiana, Tulane    Pringle is that dude. Has to be one of the more underrated running back prospects in the area but he's starting to get the college attention he deserves after a great junior season. The West Orange product has plenty of time to sharpen his bag of skills and see a big uptick in offers. Solid sophomore year for Emmanuel who looks ready to take the next step.    Joaquin Kavouklis | QB | 2027 | CAI | @joaquinkav10   Recent offers: Arkansas    Much deserved recognition from one of the true rising 2027 QBs around. He's still growing into his frame and mastering the mechanics but the arm talent is evident.
