Starting with this class and the Class of 2027 I can’t emphasize enough the importance of student-athletes promoting themselves to get scouted and recruited down the line. Having information on HUDL accounts, social media platforms, and websites like Max Preps is a necessity in this day and age.
This is the second report following the publication of Prep Redzone Kansas’ updated Class of 2026 rankings and features seven athletes debuting in the Top 50, but outside the Top 10. Two debuting players cracked the Top 10. Check out the earlier report posted today to read about them.
Noah Kobuszewski Noah Kobuszewski 6'4" | 235 lbs | ATH Seaman | 2026 State KS , ATH, 6’4”, 225, Seaman
Debuting at No. 11 is Seaman Viking Kobuszewksi. He is a talented athlete who is raw, but I love his frame. He plays tight end for the Vikings and finished his sophomore season with 45 receptions which were good for 462 yards. He can create serious match-up problems in the red zone. He caught two touchdowns, but that was for an offense with Division I talent at receiver. The Seaman prospect just has the size and speed combination that college football coaches fall in love with.
Jack Fuchs Jack Fuchs 6'8" | 295 lbs | OL Free State | 2026 State KS , OL, 6’8”, 270, Free State
Fuchs is a huge specimen and debuts in the 2025 rankings at No. 14. Fuchs is a big tackle for the Free State Firebirds and the No. 2 ranked offensive lineman in his class. The majority of his time is spent run blocking in Free State’s offense, but he is a plus pass protector as well. He has Division I size and over the next two seasons will continue to work on Division I skills
Jamaal Jackson III Jamaal Jackson III 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB Labette | 2026 State KS , RB, 5’8”, 160, Labette County (Pictured Above)
Jackson parlayed a big sophomore season into a debut in the 2025 rankings in the No. 18 position. The Labette County prospect burst on the scene during the fall of 2023. He carried the ball 134 times in nine games and gained 1,028 yards. He rushed for nine touchdowns and had one touchdown reception. He has explosive speed and makes defenders miss when he has the ball.
DJ Ngassa DJ Ngassa 6'1" | 250 lbs | DL Wichita East | 2026 State KS , DL, 5’11”, 215, Wichita East
Ngassa is a run-stopping defensive lineman who debuts at No. 36. The Wichita East prospect is a run-stopping interior lineman. He moves well laterally and can fight off double teams. He is a solid guy to stunt with and should only get bigger and stronger.
Kasen Parsons Kasen Parsons 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Osage City | 2026 State KS , QB, 6’0”, 175, Osage City
The highest debuting quarterback is Osage City’s Parson who debuts in the rankings at No. 44. He is a dual-threat QB for the Osage City Indians. He threw for 2,401 yards and 26 touchdowns during his sophomore season. He also rushed the ball for 864 yards and 12 touchdowns on 153 carries.
Daxton Minton Daxton Minton 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Great Bend | 2026 State KS , QB, 5’10”, 165, Great Bend
Right behind Parsons is another young quarterback from Great Bend. Minton debuts in the rankings at the No. 45 slot. He is a three-sport prospect who also plays basketball and baseball. The Panther sophomore had a nice season behind center throwing for 1,483 yards and rushing for 664. He threw 17 touchdown passes and rushed for seven.
Ben Clouse Ben Clouse 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Buhler | 2026 State KS , RB, 5’9”, 160, Buhler
The final player debuting in the Top 50 is Buhler’s running back in the No. 48 position. The Crusader back runs angrily and picks up the tough yards. He rushed for 894 yards and 17 touchdowns as a sophomore. Increasing his strength will only make him a tougher ball carrier.
