Louisiana's recruiting updates since early signing period

The majority of top prospects now sign in December, and winter recruiting headlines have started increasingly shifting to the junior class.   Two of Louisiana's three biggest commitment announcements in the past month have come from 2025 prospects.   But the state has still seen plenty of notable movement from the 2024 class since the early signing period, including several Division-I pledges.     THREE LSU COMMITMENTS   [player_tooltip player_id='421603' first='Dominick' last='McKinley'] — 6-7, 270 DL — Acadiana —> LSU   The state's top-ranked senior — and biggest remaining storyline for the 2024 recruiting class — rang in New Year's Eve with a surprise commitment announcement to LSU. McKinley had previously committed to Texas A&M before his senior season until the coaching changes in College Station reopened the door for the Tigers to flip him and further bolster their impressive in-state haul. [player_tooltip player_id='710071' first='Jaboree' last='Antoine'] — 6-2, 180 DB — Westgate (2025) —> LSU   Defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, in his first days back on staff at his alma mater, tapped into his hometown for a major recruiting splash in earning Antoine's commitment announcement Saturday after LSU had previously trailed Texas, Michigan and others in its pursuit.       ONE LATE-DECEMBER DECOMMITMENT   [player_tooltip player_id='139489' first='Luke' last='Wisham'] — 6-2, 170 DB/WR — Zachary   The Broncos' standout is one of the state's biggest remaining available prospect after his Christmas-week decision to back off a previous pledge to Louisiana (Lafayette). He had spent most of his high school career at wide receiver before opening several college coaches' eyes this fall with his play at safety. Chamberlain Endris — 5-10, 200 LB — Airline —> Centenary   The Gents landed another hometown prospect Jan. 15 when the Vikings' linebacker announced his pledge. [player_tooltip player_id='901042' first='Ben' last='Devall'] — 6-3, 245 DL/OL — Ouachita Christian —> Dartmouth   The Eagles' defensive lineman accepted an Ivy League opportunity Jan. 15 with his pledge to Dartmouth.   [player_tooltip player_id='1204719' first='Dolan' last='Williams'] — 6-3, 260 OL — Parkway —> East Texas Baptist   The Panthers' versatile offensive lineman announced his plan Jan. 15 to head just west to ETBU for his college career. Kennedy —> Mississippi Valley State   The Delta Devils continued their push into Louisiana, particularly New Orleans, with the Jan. 16 commitment with the promising Cougars pass-catcher.   [player_tooltip player_id='285620' first='Parker' last='Fulghum'] — 6-1, 180 WR — Evangel Christian —> Clemson   The Eagles' hyper-productive, decorated receiver announced his decision Jan. 19 to accept a preferred walk-on opportunity with Clemson, a high-level Power Five program with a track record for athletes excelling on that path. Quan'Travious Bradford — 6-1, 290 OL — Huntington —> Harding   The big offensive lineman, a leader in the trenches for his Raiders, announced his commitment Jan. 25 to Harding.
