Mark Brown Mark Brown 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Jefferson | 2027 GA – ATH – Jefferson
An outstanding young defender who can also play some running back, Brown is a naturally gifted athlete and one of the state’s top 2027 prospects early on. He brings plenty of size for his age at 6-foot-1 200-pounds who shows a great motor. He’s plenty strong for his age and runs well. He’s great in pursuit and didn’t play like your average freshman last year. He’s smart, physical, and earned his 2nd offer this week from the Arkansas Razorbacks. He’s a competitor, loves to work, and will only get better over his next three high school seasons. He’s a young prospect on the rise and is bound for a giant sophomore season in 2024. As a freshman last year, Brown made 43 tackles and one sack. Look for more big offers to come his way over the next several months.
Jake Godfree Jake Godfree 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB North Gwinnett | 2027 State GA – North Gwinnett
We wrote recently about this North Gwinnett prospect being on the rise, and it looks like college coaches are taking notice. Now, this promising linebacker has earned two big offers this week from Duke and Marshall. Don’t be surprised if this excellent young athlete sees more offers come his way sooner than later. He already had D1-caliber size at 6-foot-0 200-pounds who runs really well and made a big impact as a freshman last year for an impressive 7A program. He shows strong instincts and toughness for his age, playing more like an experienced veteran than a young freshman. A consistent tackler, Godfree hits behind his pads and plays the game with a physical presence. He’s coming off a big 2023 season where he made 78 tackles, seven TFLs and three sacks. Look for him to take on an even bigger role with the potential to have a massive sophomore season next year in 2024.
Justin Weeks Justin Weeks 6'5" | 210 lbs | DL Pace Academy | 2027 State GA – Pace Academy
A top young defensive lineman from Atlanta, Weeks is a dominant 2027 lineman who is already built like a veteran with an outstanding 6-foot-5 210-pound frame. He’s quick off the ball and appears to be ahead of the curve as far as the fundamentals go. He’s quick off the snap and uses his hands and raw strength to shed blocks and get after the ball-carrier. He can play on the EDGE and could move inside as he continues to add more weight and muscle mass over time. He made play after play in the backfield and could see his recruitment really take off soon. He’s easy to notice and will only get better and better over the next three years. Due to his overall potential, versatility, and big play potential, Weeks saw a big offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks come his way this week. Look for more to come his way in bunches sooner than later.
