Brooks is a 6’3, 258 lbs defensive tackle out of Homewood Flossmoor. While he can play defensive end as well, Brooks primarily dominated from a 4i or 3 technique. In his junior campaign, he finished the season with 58 tackles, 39 pressures, 11 quarterback hits, and 10 tackles for loss. He has one of the quickest first steps off the ball that we’ve seen, as the highly athletic defensive linemen fires off the snap and can shoot a gap in a hurry. He rarely gets cut off by offensive linemen and has the strength to shed blocks and disrupt the opposing run game in the backfield. Keep an eye on this rising star in Brooks as he heads into his senior year.
Popov is a true run-stuffing defensive tackle who dominates in the interior. The 6’3, 270 lbs plugger out of Waubonsie Valley is incredibly powerful. His strength jumps off in his tape, showcasing the ability to defeat both single blocks and double teams with ease. With his powerful base, Popov rarely gets pushed backwards. He knows how to use his hands and leverage to throw blockers off of him and make tackles in the backfield. As he heads into his senior campaign, Popov is a rising star in the Land of Lincoln.

Tinch is a dominant defensive lineman out of Prairie Ridge. He measures in at 6’4, 290 lbs and plays aggressive in the interior and on the edge. Tinch is highly athletic for his size, showcasing the ability to win 1-on-1 pass rushing matchups against both offensive tackles and guards. In the run game, Tinch’s size and power allows him to control multiple gaps and shut down any run in his direction. Tinch is ready to dominate once again as he heads into his senior year.

Galloway is a 6’3, 260 lbs defensive linemen out of Romeoville. While he primarily plays on the edge, the Class of 2025 playmaker projects as a defensive tackle at the next level. Considering his size, it’s a testament to his athleticism that he can dominate from a 5 technique. When working on the interior, Galloway understands how to sink his hips and use his leverage to defeat blockers. A force in both the run and pass game, Galloway is poised for a monster senior season.

Coleman is a 5’11, 255 lbs defensive tackle out of St. Laurence. He burst onto the scene during his junior season, possessing a quick get-off, plus strength, and an elite bull rush that makes him nearly impossible to block 1-on-1. Coleman uses his combination of a quick first step and strength to drive opposing offensive linemen backwards at the snap. He can get penetration in the backfield and is a stout tackle who can stop any running back in his tracks. Heading into his senior campaign, keep an eye on Coleman as a rising star in the state.
