Emmanuel Robinson
Emmanuel Robinson
Robinson has average size for linebacker play with a bit of a higher cut lower half. Lines up across the scheme, at times playing a bit out of position. Linebacker at next level that may face some sideline to sideline challenges but brings enough athleticism to the table to hold his own. Takes good angles and plays with technique. Quality tackler with strength. High motor and energy. Attacks downhill in the run game defense. Should have opportunities to play at next level.
Alkeyon Sugars
Alkeyon Sugars
Sugars looks the part physically with the only thing lacking being next level length. Strong build that allows him opportunity to win with combination of strength and technique. Framed to play linebacker without a doubt. Not dynamic athletically but serviceable. Attacks the football, primarily in the run game. Shows willingness to step up in the hole and tackle at low pad level. Some lower half tightness shows, most obviously in pass coverage. Best suited, with potential, at the next level as a run stopping/pass rush backer in a 3-4 type scheme. Production shows.
Jahmad McGowan
Jahmad McGowan
Immediately notice lack of physical build but plays larger than framed. Twitchy, athletic makeup that thrives in defensive secondary. Knack for ball and not afraid to mix it up with larger receivers. Free Safety type projection that plays with good vision in front. Steps up and contributes as tackler when has to. A to B type runner that can cut when forced. Above average speed. Jumps well, which is needed with lack of height. Added weight would be ideal.
Kaleb McAllister
Kaleb McAllister
Shorter physical presence on the defensive line that plays inside most likely projecting as a 3 technique. Comes off ball with power but tends to play a bit high. More than just inside run stopping presence. Clogs holes. Above average athletically given build. Produces in one of best divisions in the state. Strong kid with potential to get stronger and grow more. Production warrants look at next level as inside run stopper.
