He possesses great vision and blazing breakaway speed. He has a low center of gravity that gives him excellent balance and his ability to follow his blockers is impeccable. John “Jack” Mahar is a tough young man that can take his talents to the next level.
Bryce Hinsdale Bryce Hinsdale 5’10” | 150 lbs | ATH Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama | 2025 State NY made 1st team All State as a Wide Receiver but he was an invaluable entity in every aspect of the game. As well as being CSP’s number 1 receiving target, he was also the team’s primary Kicker & Punter, as well as being a dynamic defensive back, leading them in interceptions with 5. Hinsdale was a scoring machine with 12 touchdowns (9 receiving, 1 rushing, 1 defensive and 1 punt return) as well as successfully kicking 40 Extra Points and 4 Field Goals. In football, games are won and lost in the trenches so CSP’s Class D Championship run in 2023 all started with their line. Grant Lictus Grant Lictus 5’11” | 220 lbs | OL Clymer/Sherman/Panama | 2024 NY was the team’s starting Left Guard and team captain as a Senior. Lictus plays with a mean streak. A fantastic puller, Grant meets the defenders with aggression and tenacity. He has great hand technique and phenomenal footwork. A two year Varsity starter, TE Alex Barmore Alex Barmore 6’2″ | 170 lbs | DL Clymer/Sherman/Panama | 2025 NY gave CSP a big target to enhance their passing attack catching 35 passes for 597 yards and 6 touchdowns. He is an excellent route runner that can find the open holes in the defensive coverages. His 6’3 frame and solid hands made him a great safety valve for QB Catanese. Although he made the All State team as a Tight End, Barmore’s future may come on defense, where he was just as effective at Defensive End. Alex’s explosiveness and ability to shed blocks led to 85 tackles (21 for loss) and 9 sacks since his Sophomore season. He also proved to be a playmaker with a sack, 2 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries and a 72 yard pick six in his first year on Varsity. Ryan has great vision to diagnose the run vs the pass, a trait needed to be a top Inside Linebacker. He has the aggression to attack the hole against the run, as well as the dynamic hips needed to defend the pass. 2024 is going to be a season to watch for CSP with Ryan, along with Catanese, Hinsdale and Barmore returning for their senior seasons and looking to repeat as Class D Champions.
