Listed as a WR, E’Ryan Lawrence E’Ryan Lawrence 6’0″ | 155 lbs | ATH Bennett | 2025 State NY made 1st team All State as a Running Back. He did it all in a Tigers offense that was seemingly unstoppable in 2023, scorching defenses for 1,128 All Purpose yards and 17 touchdowns. His contributions on defense as a defensive back were also impressive, piling up 35 tackles, 3 INTs for 143 yards and a fumble recovery. Lawrence has a superb combination of speed and quickness. He has a nose for the ball and every time he gets his hands on it, he is a threat to score. Lawrence’s football instincts are second to none and he will be in the Connolly Cup conversation in 2024, given to Western New York’s best football player. As a Junior, E’Ryan Lawrence E’Ryan Lawrence 6’0″ | 155 lbs | ATH Bennett | 2025 State NY has already received attention from many Division I colleges like West Virginia and the University of Massachusetts. More are sure to come in his Senior season.
The 2023 Connolly cup winner, Ja’Meer Thomas Ja’Meer Thomas 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Bennett | 2024 State NY was an indispensable asset to the Bennett Tigers 24-1 overall record in the last two season. The explosive playmaker accumulated 3,181 yards from scrimmage and 38 touchdowns in his time on varsity. He is incredibly fast with exceptional hands. Ja’Meer plays football with a sixth sense that cannot be taught. At times, it appeared defenders were playing in slow motion around him. Thomas has quick feet and is a great route runner. This is a special player with a bright future. The 1st Team All State RB/WR will be taking his talents to Syracuse University for the 2024 season.
Highlights
After a quiet junior season where he had 43 tackles (6 for loss) and 3 sacks, Jazier Fluker Jazier Fluker 6’3″ | 230 lbs | DL Bennett | 2024 State NY dominated his senior year. Fluker ripped through Offensive Lines for 97 tackles (35 for loss) and a Section VI leading 16 sacks. Jazier rushes the passer with determination, tackles with aggression and appeared to be unblockable. A versatile athlete, Fluker was able to beat opposing linemen with speed or a bull rush. His read and reaction timing is impeccable. Fluker is currently uncommitted but has received an offer to play Division III at John Carroll.
One of the more multiskilled Linebackers in the area, Kahmari Cook Kahmari Cook 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Bennett | 2024 State NY had an exceptional career at Bennett with 199 tackles (18 for loss) 7 sacks and 4 interceptions in 2 seasons. Cook attacks the ball carrier with violence. He is aggressive against the run and blessed with fluid hips to play the pass. Kahmari possesses excellent sideline to sideline speed and can play either outside or inside linebacker. Kahmari Cook Kahmari Cook 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Bennett | 2024 State NY is going to be a prime addition to St. Francis University.
Highlights
A 5th team All State Offensive Lineman, Taylor is an excellent puller and arrives with brute force, completely man handles opposing defenders. He has a great first step and tremendous strength. His hand placement is fantastic and anchored an offensive line that sprung runners for more than 3,200 yards and 38 touchdowns in each of the last three seasons. A three year varsity stud, Delshon also dominated on the defensive side of the ball. With incredible hand quickness to shed blocks, he leaves Bennett High School with a career stat line of 182 tackles (38 for loss) and 34 sacks as Bennett won 3 straight Section VI Class AA Championships. Uncommitted as of now, Delshon Taylor Delshon Taylor 5’10” | 250 lbs | DL Bennett | 2024 State NY may be short for linemen standards but he has Division I talent.
In his first season on Varsity, Brady Ciano Brady Ciano 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Orchard Park | 2025 NY led Orchard Park to the Section VI semi-finals. Even during their loss to the reigning New York State Champion Bennett Tigers, he rose to the occasion throwing 3 touchdowns. Ciano can stretch the field with his excellent deep ball accuracy and quick release. He is extremely tough, willing to throw the ball in face of pressure and possesses the athleticism to take off when the situation calls for it. His leadership skills showed through his play on the field, leading the Quakers offense with confidence and assertiveness. After making the 1st team All Western New York team and gaining All State honors in 2023, Brady Ciano Brady Ciano 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Orchard Park | 2025 NY will be a highly touted senior in 2024.
