The talent that Decatur Central has stacked in recent years has been very impressive and Berry is another one of their highly productive versatile players. Decatur Central hit teams by the wave this year. They were as deep as they've been in a long time and they wore down defenses. For a guy who stands at 6'1" and is as solid of an athlete as he is, it's a bit surprising he's still on the market. He's a highly productive player who rushed for over 1000 yards this year and added over 400 yards and 3 TDs through the air. Berry is a slasher when he's running the ball. He finds big seams, hits them north and south, and can accelerate through the hole and come out the other side full speed. Throughout his high school career, Berry has steadily improved and developed physically. He's a sound player who should find a home come signing day.

[player_tooltip player_id='1144595' first='Jack' last='Weybright'] - Bishop Chatard - RB/WR - 5'9" 180lbs

Over the past few seasons Bishop Chatard has been an unstoppable machine, and it's having solid players all throughout your roster like Weybright that makes those 15-0 seasons possible. He's a hard-working and blue-collared football player who is willing to do anything the coaching staff asks of him. He plays hard and that's also noticeable. There are little things sprinkled throughout Weybright's game you just have to appreciate. The blocking downfield and picking up teammates anytime they're down stand out to me because it's those selfless acts that help make football go. Weybright is a dynamic and speedy player who does a bunch of damage with the ball in his hands. Last year as a running back he rushed for a team-high 673 yards and 6 TDs. This year, primarily at WR, he was a chain mover and reliable option. 42 catches, 473 yards, and 6 TDs. Weybright knows how to get open, find the soft spot, and convert 1st downs. Simple things go a long way, and it's why I feel comfortable saying Weybright is worth the add to whoever brings him in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048971' first='Ayden' last='Ewing'] - Yorktown - RB - 5'11" 195lbs

Quietly wrapping up a stellar year for the Tigers, Ewing is still looking for a home. He's a very well-built back who stands at 5'11" 195lbs. You can tell he's put the work in the weight room throughout his high school career. The better part is that adding the mass hasn't impacted his explosiveness and big play ability at all. His longest run of the year was 80 yards, and he was still pulling away from the field as he hit the endzone. He can run in between the tackles as well. While he didn't add much in the receiving game, he did catch a career-high 6 balls this year. However, it was a different story on the ground. Ewing put up over 6 yards per carry and finished the year with 1170 rushing yards and 16 TDs. His vision is good, he's able to stick his foot in the ground and hit the hole. Ewing has a lot to offer a program and should be on a roster come kickoff next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1144594' first='Asher' last='Chipchosky'] - Huntington North - TE - 6'3" 185lbs

I just came across Chipchosky today, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the long-term potential he has. His frame is real, he's lengthy and has a great catch radius. He's been used as a true TE for most of his time on the field, and you can see the development in all phases of his game. He's able to block, go in motion to seal the edge, and work over the middle of the field. He's got fairly good hands and has shown no fear going over the middle and going for a ball, knowing he's going to take a shot. While he's not the fastest TE on the field you've seen, he's still got enough speed to break big plays. He settles down in zones and does a good job getting open. He can block as well in the running game. He's also a fairly good basketball player and some of those traits translate to his game as well, like being able to box out in the Redzone. Chipchosky is the perfect type of player to bring in, develop, and help keep your program moving.

[player_tooltip player_id='541995' first='JJ' last='Baxter'] - Lapel - OL/DL - 5'11" 260lbs

One of the best unknown offensive linemen in the state is in Lapel waiting to be found. He's done his part, played football at a very high level for multiple years, and been a team leader. For the past 4 years, Baxter has been on the field in some fashion for Lapel. He even rotated in as a freshman defensively and still put up 1 sack in only 2 games. He then followed that up with 3 highly productive years on defense and being named an All-State offensive lineman, not once, but twice. On the offensive side of the ball, Baxter is fairly well-coached. He's got decent footwork and does a great job with hand placement. His work in the passing game has steadily improved since he was a freshman as well. He's compact and can handle his own in every situation. Defensively over the past 3 years, all from the interior, Baxter put up 83 tackles, 13 TFLs, 4 sacks, and forced 2 fumbles. Offensively, you're getting a Center who can make checks at the line, get the ball out quickly and accurately to the QB, and go on the move. Baxter checks quite a few boxes and how he's still on the market is beyond me.
