Thomas has tremendous burst when he hits the hole and can has an extra gear once through it to take any given run all the way to the end zone. </p>

De'Shaun runs great routes and has the speed to get separation from to get open, and the quickness to make plays in tight spaces and after the catch. West Virginia offered him during his sophomore season.</p>

He recorded 47 tackles and had 4 interceptions in 2023, showing great ability against both the run and in pass coverage. On his picks he has good return skills, which he also displayed as a kick returner.</p>
