In my final scouting report focused on the updated Class of 2024 rankings, I chose to focus on seven players from the Eastern side of the state who are debuting in the rankings.

Next week Prep Redzone Kansas will publish updated rankings for the Class of 2025 and feature multiple reports on athletes in that class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112073' first='Lamar' last='Lynch'], DB, 6'2”, 180, Bishop Miege

Lynch is a shut-down corner who has multiple college offers. His senior season was shortened due to injury, but he can highpoint the ball and wrap up tackles. He enters the rankings at No. 132. The Stag DB has offers from Division II and JUCO programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103746' first='Trey' last='Carter'], ATH, 5'10”, 185, Atchison

Atchison had a breakout season in 2023 in large part because of Carter's play-making skills. He finished the season with over 2,000 yards passing and more than 500 rushing. He is quick, smart, and unselfish. Carter threw for 21 touchdowns and rushed for eight more during his senior season. He enters the rankings at No. 134. He has multiple NAIA and JUCO offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1110683' first='Hollis' last='Moeller'], LS, 6'1”, 210, Bishop Miege, (Kansas)

Moeller is a long-snapper who has committed to play for the Kansas Jayhawks. He has a quick and accurate snap. He will have an impact on the other special teams units for the KU. It will be interesting to see if they use him as an O-lineman or D-lineman. He is sure to get reps on both sides. The Bishop Miege snapper enters the rankings at No. 135.

[player_tooltip player_id='1105470' first='Tyler' last='Antle'], P, 6'0”, 220, Frontenac, (Kansas)

Moeller could end up snapping to Frontenac's Antle on a regular basis. The Raider punter has also committed to play for the Kansas Jayhawks. He has a big leg and will hope to play on Saturdays right away for KU. Antle enters the rankings at No. 136.

[player_tooltip player_id='1104174' first='Jace' last='Tholstrup'], OL, 6'1”, 280, Concordia, (Friends)

It's a stretch to consider Concordia in eastern Kansas, but I am one of the old-fashioned guys who feel you are not really in western Kansas until you reach Hays. Tholstrup is a strong offensive lineman who has already committed to play for the Friends Falcons. He has nice speed and projects as a guard at the next level. The Concordia senior enters the rankings at No. 139.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103604' first='Thomas' last='Cordes'], OL, 6'6”, 260, Paola, (Benedictine)

Cordes is a supersized Panther who will become a Benedictine Raven after graduation. Cordes will more than likely play tackle or defensive end for the Ravens. The future NAIA player is ranked No. 176 in the Class of 2024 PRZ Kansas rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103752' first='Tate' last='Everard'], WR, 6'2”, 171, Blue Valley Southwest

Everard was a key member of one of the top passing games in the state of Kansas. He caught 77 balls for 1,299 yards. He finished with 13 touchdowns for the Timberwolves during his senior campaign. He enters the rankings at No. 180. He has offers from NAIA and JUCO programs.
