Nate Libby Nate Libby 6'3" | 175 lbs | WR Las Cruces | 2025 State NM , Las Cruces: Libby emerged as one of the top wide receivers in New Mexico as her and quarterback Gunnar Guardiola Gunnar Guardiola 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Las Cruces | 2026 State NM found the right groove. Libby finished with 63 receptions for 1,089 yards and 11 TD. In the thrilling quarterfinal round win over rival Centennial, Libby caught 10 passes for 150 yards and 2 TD.
Cheeto Lumbrera, La Cueva: For the record, his first name is Eliseo. He helped lead La Cueva to the 6A state championship with a dynamic season long performance from the running back position. He rushed for 1,000+ yards and became an integral part of the Bears offense. He was named First-Team All-State, First-Team All-District and was voted Team Offensive Player of the Year.
Noah Lynn Noah Lynn 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Roswell | 2025 State NM , Roswell: Possessing great size at 6-foot-3, 255 pounds, Lynn anchored the Coyotes’ defensive line this past season. He finished with 36 tackles, 13 TFL (more than 1/3 of his tackles produced negative yardage), 5 sacks and 10 QB hurries. Named First-Team All-State after helping lead Roswell to a 12-1 record and spot in the 6A state championship game.
Jett Galles Jett Galles RB Albuquerque Academy | 2025 State NM , Albuquerque Academy: Galles’s debut season for the Chargers could hardly have gone any better. Fueling Academy’s ‘Jett-Propelled’ offense, Galles ended up rushing for over 1,000 yards while displaying terrific speed. He’ll be a force to be reckoned with in Class 4A in 2024.
Uriel Castro Uriel Castro 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Bernalillo | 2025 State NM , Bernalillo: After going 2-8 in 2022, Bernalillo was one of the most improved teams in the state in 2023, finishing 8-4 and advancing to the quarterfinals of the Class 4A playoff. Castro led the Spartans offense by throwing for 2,078 yards and 25 TD with just 6 INT. The Castro-to-Castro connection (freshman Ulisses Castro Ulisses Castro 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Bernalillo | 2027 State NM is one of the top 2027 prospects in the state) should be dynamic in 2024.
