Chasen Jones - East Hall

A big-body receiver with good hands and the ability to take off down the field, Jones runs well for a guy 6-foot-2 200-pounds and has natural ability with the ball in his hands. He shows enough burst and the ability to break tackles to help in the screen game, and his ability to make a catch over defenders down the field makes him a reliable vertical threat as well. A 1st-team All-Region selection this year, this physical, tackle-breaking receiver hauled in 55 passes this fall for 730 yards and four touchdowns. He's a two-way player and one of the top young athletes in the Gainesville area, and he was one of the most productive receivers in the region and across the state in the 2026 class. He's a big receiver to know about in 2024.

A big-play machine for the Pickens Dragons, Purdy is an impressive young sophomore and one of the top receivers in 3A. A long-strider with good size at 6-foot-2 170-pounds, Purdy is a vertical threat down the field who knows how to track the ball in the air and pick up yards after the catch. When he's got the ball, he's looking to find the end-zone. The Jasper, Georgia native has caught 51 passes this year for 649 yards and 12 touchdowns. He consistently high-points the ball well in the air and has the ability to come down with a tough catch over smaller defenders. He shows strong, dependable hands and has been as consistent as anyone in the North Georgia area this year in his classification. He's also shown the ability to make plays in the return game on special teams due to his burst, visions, and overall playmaking ability. Just a sophomore, Purdy is a natural at the position with size, good speed, and outstanding ball skills. He's shown D1-caliber potential and could see some offer comes his way down the road.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090792' first='Jack' last='Rhodes'] - Aquinas

The leading receiver in Georgia last year in the 2026 class, Rhodes was incredibly productive last year as a sophomore, showing the ability to elude defenders and take off down the field. He shows soft, dependable hands and is a natural runner after the catch. He's a good route-runner and always finds a way to make a big catch. He can change directions on a dime, and while he's not a burner, he has enough burst to out-run defenders at the next level. One of the best receivers in the Augusta area, Rhodes does his job every play and was a consistent weapon all season long. As a sophomore, the 6-foot-1 170-pounder caught 57 passes for 1,084 yards and 17 total touchdowns. He averaged 90 receiving yards a game last year and scored a touchdown in eight different games. His best game came in a win over Glascock County where he caught six passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns.
