The junior tallied up 33 solo tackles and 25 assisted tackles in 2023 with three tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception and two defensive touchdowns. A high-motor player who gives consistent effort. He has a lot of suddenness out of his stance, which allows him to threaten gaps with his excellent first step. Plays with effective knee bend and leverage. Agile with impressive body control; looks good flowing laterally and defending outside zones and other runs of that nature.
Xavier Rhine

Through 12 games played, Rhine tallied 84 solo tackles, 35 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two interceptions and one caused fumble and a fumble recovery. He also accounted for three Choctaw touchdowns. Plays with a physical temperament and relentless motor. Fires out of his stance with explosiveness and violence to create plenty of disruption. Functional strength is excellent. Shows good knee-bend and leverage to generate movement with his bull-rush, keeping his legs churning to generate push. Has strong hands to jolt opponents on contact, and can discard them easily when two-gapping in the run game. Generates a lot of torque with his upper body to sling down some opponents.
Griffin finished with 55 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, four sacks along with five caused fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Plays with the polished awareness and technique you’d expect from someone with three years of college experience. Fires out with power and explosiveness to overwhelm opponents on contact; shows good pop in his hands. Able to anchor effectively at the line of scrimmage against power, with good leverage and knee-bend. Does a good job of keeping his shoulders square.

In 11 games played, Cook had 57 solo tackles and 4.5 sacks along with a fumble recovery. A physical and relentless player who fires out of his stance low and with explosiveness. Has incredible power in his hands to jolt opposing blockers on contact. Impressive knee-bend and natural leverage to get low and hold the point of attack; very rarely disrupted by contact. Relatively advanced ability to locate the ball. Gets good extension to keep blockers out of his frame, and shows active, heavy hands to shed/disengage.
