The CCS had a good overall showing down in Southern California over state championship weekend, winning two of the three games on the slate, and the Wilcats making the 2A game fun at the end and did not give up until the final whistle, almost completing the comeback. Soquel has plenty to be happy about as they take home their first state title, Northern California title and CCS Section Title in school history and will go down as one of the best teams to ever come out of Santa Cruz. Palma proved to just be too much for Mission Oak as they have no shortage of firepower on offense, and a young freshman running back that will be atop the CCS prospect ranks for the next several years.
