Offensive Linemen
First up was Harold Mee Harold Mee 6'1" | 215 lbs | OL Jackson Memorial | 2025 NJ of Jackson Memorial. The current junior Jaguar demonstrated emerging feet during indy drill work. He seemed to be a worker, as with every spin he took I witnessed his footwork improve each time out. Mee had one rep that stood out to me. During this rep the defender tried a Euro-step-type move, maintained his balance, and then attacked the his matchups side and hip, driving him out of the frame……. Commack’s Jonathan Maio Jonathan Maio 6'0" | 185 lbs | DL Commack | 2026 NY took his kick steps with outstanding posture. Maio avoided leaning forward and kept his back straight and thus his upper body upright. This prevented him being snatched-and-shed. I would like to see Maio turn pass protection drops into drive blocks at a certain point to re-create the pocket…… A prospect I wanted to see going in was Max Hoerter Max Hoerter 6'4" | 245 lbs | OL Ramsey | 2026 NJ . The big man out of Ramsey had perhaps the most powerful feet of all the offensive linemen. As he kick stepped and powered down I could hear Hoerter’s steps from about 7 feet away from him. Beyond that, Hoerter also kept an upright posture throughout most of his reps…… Trevon Cole-Jenkins Trevon Cole-Jenkins 6'1" | 240 lbs | OL Half Hollow Hills East | 2026 State NY , the MVP for the offensive line group, had the absolute best feet at the event. Two words to describe them would be powerful and quick. I mentioned in my MVP review that Cole-Jenkins should learn to trust his feet a bit more. That said, however, Cole-Jenkins redirects himself well when defenders try a counter-move across his body…… Coming up from down the shore was Middletown South’s Ryan Harden Ryan Harden 6'1" | 275 lbs | OL Middletown South | 2025 NJ . Harden demonstrated that he has a strong and durable lower back as he was able to maintain an upright upper body when he was in pass protection. Beyond this Harden showcased one of the better, and thus effective, punch-and-recoils during the competition phases…… Rancocas Valley’s Reid Hunt Reid Hunt 6'0" | 215 lbs | OL Rancocas Valley Regional | 2027 State NJ was a prospect who never gave up – no matter if he was beat or doing the beating. Hunt had displayed a “never say uncle”-type attitude when competed. I liked that he would use his arm to stab defenders and keep them at bay. Lastly, Hunt moved his feet effectively – specifically during competition blocks…… Last was a youngster who shined through. Seton Hall Prep’s Nicholas Danieli Nicholas Danieli 6'1" | 260 lbs | OL Seton Hall Prep | 2027 State NJ , a freshman, was unabashed as he mixed it up with any-and-everyone. Understanding that iron sharpens iron, Danieli banged with the big boys and the older boys too. The valiant effort and desire to improve stood out to me. One area I would look to see Danieli immediately improve on is to avoid lunging at defenders.
