Sierra was offered by the previous UNM staff last summer before being re-offered by recently hired head coach Bronco Mendenhall, and he inked a letter of intent to stay in-state.
Sierra is our No. 4 overall prospect in the newly updated 2024 rankings.
According to the UNM media release, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Sierra is the first player from Las Cruces to sign with the Lobos since Kameron Miller in 2016. He had 65 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2023 from his outside linebacker spot.
