Today was the first ever showcase for Prep Redzone in the state of Mississippi. It was a good one. There were a lot or great coaches there and the energy needed was provided. Let's check it out.

Austin Banks III

Banks is a 2027 quarterback from MRA that is going to be very good. Banks had some very good ball placement yesterday. I love the way he puts the zip on the football that you want to see. He also can run. Banks is going to be a guy to know from the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120598' first='Desmond' last='Johnson']

Johnson is a big running back that has a lot of size. He is a 2025 guy out of Yazoo City. I think that he has a chance to he a division one linebacker. Yesterday, he was very crucial in the 1v1 drills. Kid was making some very acrobatic catches. I think he could be a linebacker on the next level as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='461301' first='Kenzy' last='West']

West was the wide receiver MVP. He was showing off his great hands yesterday. West has also gotten a lot faster than what he used to be. This kid slipped yesterday and still ran a 4.6. I am impressed with the way he has great ball skills. He has also clocked a 4.5 on a laser. West could possibly be entertained as a safety on the next level as well. He is a 2024 wide receiver from Hartfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='648945' first='Ryan' last='Rainer']

Rainer is a guy that has been doing a lot of training to get better. He did a great job yesterday. He is a guy from St. Joe that I have been keeping up with for quite some time. I think that he is a guy who is going to play on the division one level one day. He has the size at 6-foot-7, 295 pounds. Rainer is definitely a guy to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='657028' first='Ford' last='Clark']

Clark is a 2024 defensive lineman that came out and made a name for himself yesterday. I think that he is a player that should definitely entertain playing football on the JuCo level. He was quick off the line yesterday doing his thing. He is from MRA

[player_tooltip player_id='762056' first='Zach' last='Ruffin']

Ruffin is a 2025 linebacker from Neshoba Central High School. His previous seasons he has played safety. Next year he will be starting at middle linebacker. He is going to be a linebacker on the next level. Ruffin ran a 4.62 and 4.66 yesterday in the 40-yard dash. He was 6-foot-4.5 and weighed 185 pounds. He has power five schools interested in him. Kid really lays the lumber.

Delwin Perkins

Perkins is a 2027 corner back from McComb who is very fiesty. I love the way he plays the game. He is a guy that you need to know. He has the skills to be a big time player on the next level. Perkins is going to have coaches watching his growth. Kid is a true dog.
