This list has 2024 prospects bound for the next-level, 2025s and 2026s with rising upside, and what you want out of your quarterbacks, plenty of development of instincts that were seen on Sunday.
Caleb made my first team All-Camp Team for a reason, as his poise and well-versed awareness within the pocket certainly carried over from his 2023 season. From what my eyes saw on Sunday in Jamestown, Caleb showed off excellent balance with his arm strength and accuracy and was a 2025 QB prospect that has a sound knowledge using the proper speed with his arm strength based on the routes he was throwing with his wide receivers. There is certainly a reason why on tape that Caleb flashes with his change of direction in the red zone as he posted a 7.4 in the L-Drill and a 4.6 with his pro agility and that consistent quick change of direction is seen simply on tape. Caleb certainly looks like a next-level prospect in my eyes.
Highlights
Dylan was a 2024 QB prospect that is still uncommitted looking for a home, and showed off his athleticism in the early drills for his 6’2 170 pound frame at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as I was impressed with his dexterity. He also showed fluidity when I watched him in testing at the broad jump, as that consistent flexibility I saw was consistent throughout the early part of the session. During Indy drills, Dylan showed off a reactive trigger with his quick release and you could tell is a prospect that lays out on a tape as a two-way prospect that plays with sound instincts and is used to the tougher throws. If you are still a college program looking to fill out your 2024 class and are looking for a prospect with position flexibility, Dylan certainly is one you will want to know.
Xavier was a 2026 QB prospect out of Fargo Davies that certainly in the early drills from evaluating him, passed my eye test at 6’2 205 pounds based on his athletic frame he showed off. He also showed off some intriguing testing numbers in the 40-yard dash. Where Xavier flashed in my eyes was in our Indy drills, as I was impressed with his mobility at his size and his throwing mechanics showed off a QB prospect that has plenty of upside to grow into. He also showed off a quick release and good poise that will continue to develop with two more years of high school football at his disposal. I will be waiting to see more tape out of this young man over the coming months.
