Notable 2025 QB Performers of 2023    GAITHER   [player_tooltip player_id='827414' first='Jayce' last='Nixon'] | QB | 2025 | Gaither | @Jayce_Nixon_   Nixon is one of the most talented rising gunslingers that I've had the opportunity to watch develop over the last couple of years. Watched him dominate and impress various Power 5 coaches at camps last summer. He led Gaither to the Semi-Finals in the playoffs this year as a junior while throwing for more than 3,000 yards. Still has some time to tone up his body and overall game but he has Real Deal arm talent.   2023 stats: 233/343 - 3004 yards - 28-5 TD/INT   ST. AUGUSTINE    [player_tooltip player_id='826612' first='Locklan' last='Hewlett'] | QB | 2025 | SAHS | @LocklanHewlett   The 2025 Wake Forest QB commit has led his high school to an undefeated season with a chance to take home a state championship on Thursday against Mainland. He's only lived to the off-season hype he developed during the 7v7 period which translated throughout the regular season. Hewlett has stamped his name as a true Division 1 leader under center.   2023 stats: 141/223 - 2570 yards - 22-4 TD/INT   LAKELAND    [player_tooltip player_id='827385' first='Zander' last='Smith'] | QB | 2025 | Lakeland | @zander_smith15   Smith has battled all season in his first year in Orange and Black and has helped get the Dreadnaughts back in state championship contention. Lakeland will face off against Venice in a rematch from last year that saw the L take home the trophy. Smith will have his chance to add some hardware to his high school campaign and recharge the recruitment hype he had going into his junior season.   2023 stats: 134/196 - 1758 yards - 22-4 TD/INT   CCC   [player_tooltip player_id='827366' first='Jershaun' last='Newton'] | QB | 2025 | CCC | @JershaunN   This kid has developed into one of the top athletes in the area. He's led CCC to a 25-2 record in the past two seasons and has the opportunity to win a state championship while playing one of the top teams in the country. Newton is a true threat with his legs as the junior totaled a team-high 1,020 rushing yards with 13 touchdowns on the ground. Any college coaches looking for Real Dea Dual-Threats, tap in with this one.    2023 stats: 1926 passing yards   CARROLLWOOD DAY   [player_tooltip player_id='829406' first='Jordan' last='Magwood'] | QB | 2025 | Carrollwood Day | @jordanmagwood9   Magwood has shown all doubters that he has the legitimate arm talent and upside for the next level. He's a developing Dual Threat and already has that x-factor presence when he takes the field. Natural arm strength, quick decision-making, and accuracy are some positives that stand out in his game. With more improvement in his throwing and footwork mechanics, Magwood could land a significant committable offer before finishing his high school campaign.   2023 stats: 130/191 - 2177 yards - 22-4 TD/INT   FBA (Naples)    Ethan Crossan | QB | 2025 | FBA | @ethan_crossan   Crossan nearly led the state in Class 1S for passing yards for juniors in the state. The 6-0, 190-pound sophomore has a decent frame and QB mechanics that he uses to make things happen and extend plays when needed. Don't sleep on the moves in the open field as Crossan has flashed the ability to be a scramble threat at the next level. Intelligent and talented QB that we will have eyes on moving into the off-season.   2023 stats: 197/310 - 2909 yards - 36-5 TD/INT   LAKE WALES   Brycen Levidiotis | QB | 2025 | Lake Wales | @LevidiotisBryce   Levidiotis has helped the Highlanders to another unbeaten regular season as Lake Wales fell short of a state championship repeat this season. The junior has shown off the off-season work with nearly 2,000 passing yards with another season under his belt to develop and work on his frame.    2023 stats: 111/214 - 1816 yards - 20-8 TD/INT   MANATEE    [player_tooltip player_id='1124696' first='Andrew' last='Heidel'] | QB | 2025 | Manatee | @AndrewHeidelQB   Really productive season for the 6-2, 190-pound junior who can sling it.  Heidel finished with the 3rd most Single-Season yards for his high school while setting the single-game passing record in his junior season. Plenty of upside for the junior with time to work on his game during the off-season.    2023 stats: 206-318 - 2618 yards - 20-6 TD/INT   PENSACOLA CATHOLIC    [player_tooltip player_id='1317535' first='Ryan' last='Huff'] | QB | 2025 | PCHS | @RyanHuff2025QB   The 6-4, 208-pound junior has one of the better frames and potential upside in the class/state. He led PCHS to an 8-2 regular season finish and has already picked up some Division I offers because of his pocket presence and ability to put throws on the money.    2023 stats: 123/219 - 1902 yards - 13-6 TD/INT   BISHOP MOORE   Bjorn Juergensen | QB | 2025 | Bishop Moore | @Jurgensen17   Jurgensen has been a solid 2025 prospect this season that has seen his stock rise as he has helped Bishop Moore to six consecutive wins with a 2M District 4 title to end the regular season. Plenty of time to work on his game and continue building chemistry with his teammates as the Hornets return some talented players next season.    2023 stats: 186/277 - 2466 yards - 29-8 TD/INT   TRINITY CATHOLIC    [player_tooltip player_id='606162' first='Preston' last='Wright'] | QB | 2025 | Trinity Catholic | @PrestonW_11   Wright is a dual-sport athlete who missed time last season due to an injury but has made the most of his junior season behind center. Have had the chance to watch Wright develop since watching him compete during the Prep Redzone Showcase. Has a good frame at 6'1, 185 pounds with plenty of time to focus on the mechanics of the position. He has good arm strength and lower body because of his baseball skills combined with a quick release and decent accuracy.   2023 stats: 116/209 - 1664 yards - 17-6 TD/INT   PLANT CITY   [player_tooltip player_id='1314015' first='Chris' last='Denson'] | QB | 2025 | Plant City | @chrisdenson03   Denson has been on fire since the off-season when he won QB Standout at the 863Showcase. He only took that momentum and confidence into the season as he finished a really solid junior season with over 2,000 passing yards and nearly 30 TD passes.
