MYRTLE BEACH | One of the more competitive parts of Friday night's Joanne Langfitt Showcase was the 7-on-7 period where we got to watch some incredible catches and some great defensive plays as well. We spent time checking out guys primarily from the Upstate of South Carolina, and they did not disappoint.

[player_tooltip player_id='605526' first='Tyler' last='Morgan'] | DB | Wren

Morgan made a great break on the ball at the right time to knock the ball away, preventing a completion in one of the first games of the 7-on-7.

Brycen Kemper | DB | Midland Valley

Kemper made a nice acrobatic grab to make an interception early on.

[player_tooltip player_id='473013' first='Carter' last='Coleman'] | WR | Ridge View

Coleman's catch over the middle set up a touchdown for the White team, as he showed great concentration in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012637' first='Jackson' last='Repp'] | WR | Christ Church

Repp (pictured above) was a name we wrote in our notes throughout the session. He made an unbelievable catch for a touchdown with two defenders in the area, and then he did it again later near the back of the end zone.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249747' first='Zach' last='Rogers'] | DB | Lewisville

Rogers stepped right into a throw and made an interception, showing good instincts in reading the route and reacting quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1359140' first='Johnathan' last='Tobias'] | DB | York

Tobias's strong night continued in the 7-on-7 period, as he read a route like a book and made an interception once the receiver got out of his break.

[player_tooltip player_id='346191' first='Calvin' last='Choice'] | DB | Spartanburg

Choice blanketed a receiver in man coverage, forcing a fourth down stop to get off the field during the second session of the 7-on-7.

[player_tooltip player_id='272715' first='Brady' last='Albro'] | QB | Chapin

Albro's release on a throw was fun to watch as there was a nice touch on the throw near the goal line.

[player_tooltip player_id='464896' first='Darrell' last='Holmes'] | LB | Stratford

Holmes reacted quickly to force an incompletion during the second game that we saw of the 7-on-7 period.
